I cannot wait to return to El Fenn. I stayed with some friends and enjoyed my own room on the ground level. It was quiet and comfortable. I loved the daily breakfast near the pool, and had a drink every evening on the rooftop. The hotel is visually stunning - there are photo ops at every turn. But what I loved the most was the caring and sweet staff. They helped with our dinner reservations, tour guides, and were so incredibly attentive in every way. El Fenn was my favorite riad we visited by far.

El Fenn is perfection! 10 out of 10! Every inch of this hotel is stunning. The design is unlike anything you have ever seen- bright colors, exotic tiles and textiles, local rugs thrown around. It is gorgeous. When you walk in you will notice the custom amber scent that lingers throughout the hotel. You won't want to leave! There is complimentary breakfast in the courtyard with coffees, delicious pastries, fruit, eggs, yogurt. Heaven! At night have drinks on the beautiful rooftop with a view of the city- spectacular! Every member of the staff is wonderful- so warm, helpful and attentive. Before our arrival the concierges helped build a robust itinerary with local restaurants, tours and an excursion to the Atlas Mountains. They made it so easy! Every single interaction with the staff was so lovely- truly the kindest, most helpful staff at any 5 star hotel I have ever encountered. You feel like you are in someone's home. We had the honor of meting Hanane Chouquir, our tour guide of the medina on the first day. She is a wealth of knowledge of all things Marrakech from every tiny souk to details of the culture. We loved her so much we had her guide us 3 more times. She is a treasure and I highly recommend her! The gem of Marrakech! On our tour of the Atlas Mountains we had guide Mohamed Addi (Ourika Trekking). He is from a local Berber village and gave the most excellent tour including a tour of the outdoor market and women-run argan shop. He then took us to lunch at a local Berber family's home with homemade tangines and a lesson in making traditional mint tea- the most authentic experience anyone could have. He kindly answered all of our questions and gave us amazing insight into the Berber culture. I highly recommend Ourika Trekking! Overall I really cannot say enough amazing things about El Fenn and our experience in Marrakech. I have traveled all over the world and stayed at some amazing 5 star hotels but always have a few complaints. El Fenn is magic! You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful hotel, perfect secluded base for a visit to Marrakesh. Pool area small but works well. Lovely wandering around the hotel with the tortoises everywhere. Shop is wonderful with lots of interesting finds. Tea is served in the afternoon in one of the courtyard sitting areas where you can help yourself to cakes and biscuits which is a lovely generous touch.

Honestly the hotel lived up to all expectations and more. The ammenities were exactly as described and pictured, the rooms are exceptional but the biggest appeal for us to return here is the staff. Every single person we interacted with at the hotel was exceptionally helpful and kind. From Fouzi who welcomed us with a smile at breakfast every morning, to the staff who worked on the rooftop catering to our poolside needs and the receptionists who were willing to help wherever they could. One thing to note is that there are no irons due to the risk they pose so either iron your stuff before going or be prepared to pay, having said that the hotel staff were super helpful when we realised this. Can’t wait to stay again!
