“Typical Moroccan experience and great value for money”
Such a wonderful place to stay! Abdullah was extremely kind and welcoming, offering us tea on arrival and even printing our plane tickets before our departure. Our room was beautiful and beyond our expectations!

Dar Narjis is a lovely place, close to the centre of the old city but in a lovely quiet area. What really made my stay outstanding were Abdul and Umaima (sorry if that is not the right spelling). So friendly and welcoming and just could not do enough for you. My two weeks here were relaxing and perfect and I would 100% return

You can hear the call to prayer from the nearby mosque. It didn’t bother us, but if you’re sensitive to noise, I’d recommend bringing earplugs. It was overall a really nice stay!

The place is in a perfect position, near to everything, but away from the most touristic spot of Marrakech. We followed the tip to ask for a room at the first floor and it was great, since humidity is tough. There is no heating, so the first night was cold and dreadful, but after a fight we succeeded in getting a small heater, so the following nights were great. The room was really quaint and the atmosphere was great, though there is no sunlight since the windows are really really small and this makes it a good place just to sleep. The bed wasn’t comfortable at all (sultan room) and the breakfast is quite disappointing, so it’s hard to give a good mark to the place. At the meantime, the whole environment is so particular and beautiful that it makes it hard to give a bad one too. I don’t think I would go back, but I could suggest it for a short (very short) stay to spend in the beautiful Moroccan style. The pool, as already said by other travelers, was empty, but being winter it might be understandable.
