We spent the most magical week at this amazing Dar Lalla F'dila Riad and we will definitely be back! The place is so tranquil and divine and it really is one of Medina’s hidden treasures. It is the most exquisite Riad, hosting an aura of such serenity and peace throughout the whole building. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel like house guests and were greeted by the warm and friendly host. On the first night we had an beautiful home cooked dinner, prepared from scratch by the superb chef, who I still say prepared me the best meal I ate for the whole week we were in Marrakesh. As the week progressed I fell more in love with the Riad not only because of its most beautiful décor and incredible cleanliness but because of the hospitality of the staff. Havid one of the site managers went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed as well as help to make my partners birthday that extra bit special. I have never ever met anyone as hardworking, professional and amazing as him while traveling on a holiday, he honestly made our stay at the Riad extremely special by going above and beyond for us as guests. He never stopped being busy but always smiling and making all the other guests feel just as special on their stay too. While staying at the Riad we had a fantastic Hammam and the best massage I have ever had, the masseuse was very friendly, professional and did everything to a high standard. I would definitely recommend having a treatment within the Riad. One of my favorite things about the Riad is the beautiful soft music that would be played in the day. The music would fill the Riad with such an elegant and relaxing thought inspiring energy, as well as the times in the day when you can actually hear in sync all the prayers happening around Medina flow through the riad, it absolutely beautiful and really did add to the magic of our stay.

A home away from home. In a small road, not far away from the crowd, but far enough to have undoubtable peace, lies this beautiu Dar/Riad. Hafed & Abdou, and then rest of the crew made our stay more special. From the cute breakfast in the morning to a dinner prepared for us in the Riad, everything was perfect. Happy guest are written here with big letters! To the main place its 10min walking. You walk through different souks - so its never boring. To the parking its 5min walking. Our warmest recommendations for this accommodation and its biggest asset - the people.

“DAR LALA F'DILA - Fantastic riad - pity the agent put us somewhere else!”
Myself and 2 lifelong friends decided to celebrate 50 years of friendship by leaving our other halves behind for a week to visit Marrakesch. Myself and 2 lifelong friends decided to celebrate 50 years of friendship by leaving our other halves behind for a week to visit Marrakesch. We found a beautiful looking riad through a company called SECRET ESCAPES and made the booking. Sadly, UPON ARRIVAL we were informed that there were no rooms available at Lala F'dila and we were bunged in a so called "annexe" in a very grotty part of the Medina 20 minutes away from the place we had booked and paid for. We were not the only ones caught in this predicament. During the week we met 2 other couples each of which had also booked Lala F'dila with SECRET ESCAPES and been billeted in inferior accommodation. We did manage to visit Lala F'dila for dinner. It was magnificent and so was the food, service, amenities, location and view. There was simply no comparison with the alternative we had been obliged to accept. After dinner we trekked back to the "annexe" and considered what we should do about the way we (and others) had been let down. NEARLY 2 MONTHS LATER we're Still trying to sort this out with SECRET ESCAPES who are claiming that our dispute is not with them and we need to contact their supplier in Morrocco who are not responding at all. Are we missing something else here? If you buy something and you don't get what you paid for, you go back to where you bought it from - and not to their suppliers,..... don't you? So beware of SECRET ESCAPES if there is a problem with your booking they will blame it on their suppliers and leave you high and dry. To ensure accuracy SECRET ESCAPES did eventually offer 200 Euros between 3 of us as a goodwill gesture. An offer which falls well short of making up for this extremely shoddy service. The quest for satisfaction continues.

“It was an amazing expereince!”
We were really looked after while we stayed there for 4 nights. The location was perfect, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staffs were very helpful and friendly. The whole building was exquisite and beautiful. We loved every minute of it when we were there!

“Oasis of Calm”

On arrival in Marrakesh after an over-priced taxi, being ripped off by someone trying to show us the right way to our Riad only to find it was the wrong Riad. We arrived at the Riad we had booked online only to be told there had been a problem with our booking and there was no room at this Riad. The good news was there was another Riad nearby where we could stay. We were met by Abdu who helped carry our luggage and were taken to Riad Dar Lalla F'dila, where we were met by the owner Veronique, who showed us around her beautiful Riad that she had renovated. I felt we had ended up with a better deal! We had a beautiful room with 7m high ceiliings, i was in heaven. We were shown around the Riad and the lovely roof terrace with a great view of Marrakesh and the Atlas mountains in the distance. Veronique and Abdu could not of been more hospitable and friendly. We were only on of three couples staying there so it was quiet and relaxing and a respite from the madness of the Souk and Medina. I would wholly recommend staying here.
