“Welcoming and flexible - lovely stay”
In addition to staying here, we had dinner here (the pastilla was excellent) and also took a cooking class. The kitchen was not large and the class was very informal with just four of us who were traveling together, the riad's cook, and a staff member as interpreter.

“A wonderful, comfortable stay in an absolutely beautiful Riad!”
Had a wonderful stay at Riad Sara— there was a mix up in the booking but Riad Sara were very helpful in sorting it all out— the staff were very friendly and helpful and even accommodated an early breakfast (which was delicious) so that we could join our tour on time

“Friendly staff”
We 3 friends stayed at Riad Sara for 2 nights. The beds were comfortable and the courtyard lovely. Ali, Ibrahim & Said provided gracious service upon arrival, departure and at breakfast, which was plentiful and delicious. A welcome respite in busy Fez!

Stayed three nights at the 7-room Riad Sara in Fes. The property has a beautiful covered central courtyard where meals are also served. We arrived later in the evening but our driver had called ahead and Ibrahim came out to meet us and secured the service of a trolley man to help with our luggage. Ibrahim was gracious, helpful and ever efficient. With the kitchen opened, we had a traditional Moroccan meal at the property instead of wondering out on the first night. The property is at the edge of the old Medina and hence somewhat accessible. Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 am and is delicious. We had room 7 on the first floor, which was rather large. It actually had another single bed in the “living” area. The bathroom is also huge with a bathtub. There is however, no fridge, no kettle and no TV in the room. WiFi was speedy though. House sleeper is also not provided. Thankfully, the “heater” worked well enough as the room was kept comfortable. We bought water from a little store not too far away. Across the road from the main access into lane that brings one to the Riad is a laundromat. It seems popular as we saw a tour guide bring his guests to have laundry done. Further down the “main” road (turning left) is the small but super friendly and delicious The Corner Kitchen. The historical Riad is not for those that require every modern convenience and the steps to level 2 can be “challenging” for those with a bit of mobility problem. Otherwise, it is a charming and tranquil Riad with friendly service.
