Riad Razane is a great choice! To sum it up: they arranged airport shuttle. We heard later that the price was around 5 euro cheaper than taxi drivers normally charge. The taxi driver called the staff so someone was waiting for us to accompany us to the riad. What a service, but wait, there is more! We were to late for dinner at the riad, but the staff made us food anyway! The following days we would eat multiple times here and it was good every time! Delicious tajine, couscous and fresh fruit! The location is perfect, it’s close to the medina and tannery - but far enough for the smell! When you visit the tannery, you understand why you don’t want to be to close. After the first day of visiting the medina it’s nice to visit on the second day the area around the city. Again the staff prepared all for us. So a chauffeur picked us up and we went on a road trip to Meknes and Volubilis. Then there are the rooms, they are big. Nice beds and our room had a bath and sitting area. We chilled some nights in the room. The middle of the Riad has a garden and fountain. We sit there for breakfast. On the top there is a terrace with beds, so we chilled there some mornings before going out. So, highly recommended!

This is a traditional Moroccan guesthouse/ Riad, Ali and his staff were great and made our visit a pleasure. They were good sized rooms with great mosaic tiling and carved wood work on the doors, the place was clean and lovely breakfast. Ali was very helpful in organizing our taxi's and guide at competitive prices and upgrade our rooms for a small charge. Would definitely stay there again if we visit Fes.

My girlfriend and i were walking from the bus station in new Fez (we arrived from chefchaouen) to the old medina. It turned out that the distance was way longer then we thought. But we continued walking asking for directions along the way. It was already around half past nine in the evening when the car just stopped 30 meters in front of us. I approached the car and saw a lady next to the man who was driving. They spoke fluent french but we switched to english quickly. They offered to give us a ride to Fez medina (yes, they couldn't believe that we were walking alone in the dark in a pretty desolate part of the road alone with our backpacks). The offer seemed more then genuine so we jumped in. They asked us where are we staying so that they could take us there and were shocked again to heat that our plan is to get to Medina and look for accommodation there, because it was getting really late. So, after one phone call, they offered us to stay at their place. And because they realized we were on very tight budget they offered us to pay the bare minimum for the amazing room we got when we arrived there. It was so spacious and cozy. We stayed only for one night, because we had to continue our trip to Merzuga, but they were such a great hosts. And the lady was amazing. She tried so hard to get us best deal for Merzuga as well. And i have to be honest, this happened exactly two years ago (i put april 2017 because that was the last possible option to choose..) As you can see, it took me some time to write this (and i feel ashamed because of that), but this is my first ever review on tripadvisor, and i know that this could never compensate for the amazing help they offered us and absolutely nothing can justify this two years of silence.. And i feel even worse now when i red some concerning comments here, but i sincerely hope that this great place is still alive and beautiful as i remember it

We stayed in this Riad 2 nights. The host was super friendly and helpful. He gave us advice how not to be robbed and so on and he help us with parking. The room was clean and nice traditional style. The breakfast at the morning was mostly sweet but i was ok with that. The location of riad is in newer medina, liiitle bit scary, but safe even at night. The old medina is cca 10min. walking from there so no big issue. I like this riad, i don't have any negatives. I liked bathroom, especially wall tiles - old school without glaze - super cool. But, it is almost impossible to find it at first time, write or call the host of Riad, he will definetely helps you. I made a mistake and some wierd guy at the street helps us and we had a problems with him later. Be careful, Riad Razane doesn't have any people on street or guides or nothing, DO NOT believe anyone except the host behind the riad doors.
