“Beautiful Riad, great location!”
Beautiful traditional riad a short walk from the Medina. Tucked away in a quiet alley. Staff is friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed in the luxury suite - huge room with a lounge area and two story ceiling. Highly recommended!

We stayed a week in this wonderful Riad with 9 people spit between 2 families. The Riad is excellently located and i would say in the best part of town for visiting the medina yet providing easy access for taxis and the new town. The owner is extremely welcoming and we followed most of her suggestions which turned out to be excellent choices. Our room had a private terrace and was huge, our 3 children had a suite with 3 beds and a private living room, the breakfast changed daily and was served to us and included eggs, cake, moroccan pancakes and fresh juice, tea and coffee, my eldest son must have eaten 7 pancakes per day! We were there in January which was cold in the night and morning and so breakfast was served in the living room with a roaring fire. This is a very nice place to come back to after a day in the medina, a real oasis. I think there are 6 or 7 rooms so its more intimate and very good value compared to other riads which whilst equally beautiful and perhaps more bling are more impersonal and considerably more expensive.

Riad Le Sucrier De Fes is a stunningly beautiful traditional Riad, providing a quiet peaceful oasis within the hectic Medina. It is in a good convenient location and easy to find ( important in Fes ). We missed our connecting flight, and having travelled overland ( and unable to contact the Riad ) arrived several hours late in the early hours of the morning. The lovely owner Souad who had waited up until 2am for us (and then gone to bed) greeted us at 5:45am with smiles and concern for our wellbeing. Her warm welcome and the beauty of the Riad made the stress of our journey evaporate. On the day of our departure she got up with us at 2am and ensured our taxi arrived on time. Her kindness will never be forgotten. During our stay, Souad and all the staff were very kind and helpful (but never intrusive ). Souad recommended amazing places of interest, great local restaurants and even booked a beautiful hammam for me. Breakfasts in the courtyard (at whatever time we got up ) were delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend this Riad. I did not want to leave ! Thanks to you all for a wonderful stay and we hope to see you again soon Inshallah. I think I still need some practice in recognising the essential oils of Morocco !

We had a lovely stay at the Riad. The courtyard is gorgeous with a palm tree, a blooming jasmine plant and a couple of orange trees. It was so peaceful to have breakfast in the courtyard and listen to the pigeons. We had a few set backs with this Riad though. When we clicked on the Riad location on Expedia, it showed a location that was close to the train station, but in reality, it was located in the medina. We walked around trying to find it according to the Expedia location, but we couldn’t find it. We tried calling, but the phone number listed was the owner’s phone who lives in France. There was no way to connect the Riad to ask for directions. We stumbled upon a taxi who was able to take us to the Riad in the Medina. Our hosts, Youssef and Zainab, were always so lovely and friendly.
