Staff was extremely helpful navigating the location which can be overwhelming. Assisted in hiring a tour guide for our stay who was very knowledgeable. Make sure you do the scrub & massage. It was one of the best I have had. The restaurant on prim is great. The furniture & bedding was worn & could use a refresh.

“Natural environment with art everywhere. Stay here.”
Loved this Riad. The restaurant was the best meal in Fes. Every room is special and stylish, cozy and spotless. Loved the staff at reception and in the restaurant. The gardens are spectacular. I also appreciated the nice bedding and quick laundry service. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A truly beautiful Riad, decorated by a famous French interior designer who was also the owner of the place (Mitchel Biehn). We had a problem with the credit card I made the booking with, but they told me not to worry and pay at reception on arrival, which was great as in other places you may lose your reservation. The riad is located about 5-6 minutes away from the Blue Gate, inside the Fez Medina. Very easy to get there through narrow and safe streets. It is also located 2 minutes away from the main shopping street, so it was easy to get around the Medina and come back to the Riad. We got the La danseuse Berbere room, which was well decorated and practical. Very clean and comfortable. We never heard a noise from nearby rooms, and the streets become quiet after 8pm. What stands out are the internal gardens and patio. A quiet eden that is only found once you step through the main door of the riad. There is a small but well kept pool, and a cafe/restaurant where we had dinner 2 out of 3 nights due to the good quality of the food (a bit on the expensive side though). The people working at the Riad are great, always helpful in a natural manner. We were greeted every morning at breakfast by Moshuk (photo), who was lovely and made our stay great. But pretty much everyone at the Riad was warm and helpful. On the last day, we were told that since our room had not been booked that night, we could check out any time we wanted. Since our flight out was scheduled late that afternoon we really appreciated the offer. I travel quite often for work and it is rare that you are given such an opportunity by hotels! We stayed 3 nights, loved Fez and the Jardin Des Biehn and their people. It was hard to leave that paradise. My partner and I would like to thank everyone at Jardin for going above and beyond their means to make our stay great

“Enchanted night”
Amazing riad in Fez. Beautiful place, each room as a name a a unique decoration. Riad has a restaurant, breakfast is excelent. Location is also great as it is in the medina. Car must be parked in a public garage about 200 mts from the riad.

We stayed here with our daughter (age 15) for four nights, and loved every minute. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome and the staff could not do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Houcine is a superb and professional manager, and the owner, Paul Biehn, utterly charming and a great host. Our room was Les Bédouines, which was perfect for the three of us. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, a charming en-suite shower room, and double aspect views across the narrow streets and rooftops of the Medina. We dined in the restaurant one evening, under the olive tree, and it was one of the best meals of our whole stay in Fez. The Riad is beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style with a charming courtyard garden, plunge pool, water feature, lush vegetation, lanterns suspended from the trees and pretty painted furniture with colourful cushions. We requested the laundry service, and clothes returned spotless and beautifully ironed. Houcine arranged an excellent driver for us to do a full day trip out to Meknes and Volubilis - definitely not to be missed - and our transfers to and from Fez airport were seamless. We cannot recommend Les Jardins des Biehn highly enough, and hope to return very soon!
