“A wonderful place to stay in Casablanca!”

Lovely rooms, amazing and cozy spa, great restaurant and bar- really outstanding! They surprised my husband for his birthday and with the best cake he ever had (that is what he said). Each room is a suite- with a lovely marble bathroom, tub and shower. Sorry to only be here 3 nights!

Overall a comfortable stay , nice beds, just a bit of feedback , shower water was lukewarm warm , however, breakfast was lovely and when we had to leave rather quickly in our last morning staff were very kind to give us coffee and croissant to eat on our departure…. Travellers beware of taxi drivers who do not put their meters on and charge whatever they want , also in markets be careful to barter very strongly in where they sell perfumes Argan oils etc as overpriced. Also beware of browsing and not buying as expectations are high on tourists to buy and then if you don’t they become annoyed and their mood can change from being very friendly to being very annoyed and making tourists feel guilty if not purchasing

“Mostly Satisfied with Our Stay at Art Palace Suites with One Notable Disclaimer - Would Still Recommend but with Caution”

We stayed for three nights at the end of January and were mostly happy with our stay at Art Palace Suites (see below). We found it to be well-situated, very comfortable, and well-priced. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful, always offering a friendly greeting and ready at all times to assist with anything you may need (with one exception - see below). The breakfast each morning was very good and the space in which it is served is very pleasant (we got to enjoy having it served to us in both the common space as well as the small private room just beyond the common space). We also chose to have dinner at the hotel a couple of times and the food was very good although it is served in the bar and it can get quite smoky in there at times (perhaps not a problem for everyone but something that bothered us a bit). All in all we were mostly happy that we chose to stay at the Art Palace, as I say, however we found it to be difficult to get to sleep at night due to the very loud music being played in the bar. This was the case for two of our three nights, unfortunately. Perhaps if we had been on a different floor this wouldn't have been an issue but we were in one of the "deluxe suites with Andalusian patio" (extremely nice, by the way) and the noise from the bar at night was loud and continued until about 2AM. I even called the desk to ask if they could ask the DJ to lower the volume in consideration of the guests who are nearest to the bar but the response we received was that there was nothing they could do about it (disappointing). I kindly pointed out that unless we were mistaken we had chosen to stay in a hotel with a bar - not a bar with a hotel - and would thus expect the needs and wishes of the hotel guests to come before those of the bar patrons and/or the DJ so when we received this response we were disappointed, indeed, as we had an early flight on our departure day and did not get a very good night's sleep beforehand due to the loud music. All in all we would not hesitate to recommend the Art Palace to anyone looking for wonderful accommodation, food, and service at a good price in an excellent location. The great majority of things that go into making a hotel-stay an enjoyable one were happily a part of our experience but we would offer our recommendation with the above-mentioned disclaimer that it can get quite smoky and loud in the bar at times and that the music, in particular, can be a problem late at night if you are staying in certain suites that happen to be in the closest proximity to it. As for us, we'd probably consider staying here again as these issues are not enough on the whole to completely detract from what is otherwise a really lovely hotel with great service. We would simply request a different suite next time.
