I usually travel to different parts of México in business and for leisure. This past week went to Guadalajara on business and ended up staying here. Its not the best of hotels and I do not know how do they have them rated as a 4-star hotel. The room was clean but c'mon, I am pretty sure that they can afford a flat screen TV. They still have those box-like ones from 20 years ago. Having being in México so many times, my Spanish is very decent, so I try to use it as much as possible. However, when spoke to the staff from the front desk, it was always very hard. They were never interested in my comments. They do not have any service-oriented way of treating people. Sometimes even a bit rude. I asked for a second key to my room and was denied. They told me they only use one per room and no more. Besides that, the stay was ok. They have a small parking lot, but it was never full. The ladies that cleaned and made the room where very nice.

I have been staying in this hotel for a few years, I often have to travel to Guadalajara for buisness and tha company I work for always books this hotel. To be honest is not all that bad, it has been recently remodeled. The worst thing about this hotel is the rooms are not soundproof so at night, and I mean every night, you can hear this very unpleasent noises... sometimes you can also hear them in the morning too. They don't really have parking, it's very limited, so they just pile up the cars and sometimes it's kind of anoying. Asside from this the customer service is ok, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would recomend it if you are a heavy sleeper or don't mind the late night "noise".
