We stayed here one night while in Guadalajara and booked through Hotel.ca - it was such a great deal. When we arrived, we were greeted by very friendly staff. Rooms were basic but super clean, although pillows weren't great, but the pressure in the shower made up for it (the water kinda smelled a little like algae.) The location is excellent - close to Mercado Libertad, Centro, Historic, etc. We walked everywhere. Breakfast was included... not great but what the hey. Coffee was super weak, but we survived. I would stay here again. My only recommendation is to stay away from Indepencia street north of the hotel a few blocks when it gets dark. A bit seedy, but certainly survivable.

This hotel was friendly, clean, and very reasonable. It was located in downtown Guadalajara, so if you like to walk it is very central to history, We were greeted with friendliness and a broken english speaking door man but got exactly what we needed. we stayed there 4 nights and would return there. we asked for a quiet room and we got a quiet room. It isnt fancy, but then for the price we paid, we didnt expect it either. rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Ucould ask the doorman for a taxie and he would also tell u how much the taxie should cost. They helped us if u wanted to take a bus, which we did, and that is very interesting. the restuarant is very Mexican spoken, but hey ur in their country. they also had internet available in an appointed area. We would go back

Really, really inexpensive but the rooms are large and clean. It was on the edge of the Centro Historico but worked out well for us as we like to walk - and its only about six blocks from the hotel. On our first day, we noticed that the toilet was leaking; I called the front desk and within a minute, a handyman came to fix it. We used it and it was still leaking. On our way out, we told reception and when we came back, they moved us to another room as the problem was not fixed yet. The new room was just as nice and even larger than the last one. Needless to say, the staff was very accommodating. They also had free parking and they valet park it for you. The hotel is far enough away from the buzz and noise of the center of Guadalajara but near enough that you can walk to the major sights. I'll stay here again if we ever come back to this city.
