The Aurea is a very nice hotel. Our room was clean, very comfortable with nicely appointed details. The accommodations were well above average for the price we paid. Breakfast in the morning provided a variety of items including omelets to your order. The service staff were exceptionally nice, particularly in the breakfast room. The hotel was centrally located for our purposes in the Zapopan neighborhood. It's a quick Uber drive to the downtown historic district, but it's at least 45 minutes from the airport. We would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this area of Guadalajara.

Stayed here for 4 days. The rooms were spacious and more importantly clean. Prices were very reasonable. The grounds, pool area were well kept and manicured. Stayed here for 4 days. The rooms were spacious and more importantly clean. Prices were very reasonable. The grounds, pool area were well kept and manicured. We enjoyed the on site restaurant as well. Entire staff was very friendly and courteous. It is on a busy avenue but surprisingly still quiet and secluded on the grounds. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the city.

“Perfect for the slightly longer stay”
Booked in here after new restrictions on restaurants and shops as they have rooms with small kitchen facilities and great rooms. Great place to stay with very friendly staff and service levels. Nice little gym and pool and quiet courtyard.

“Adequate, nothing more”
The room was clean and reasonably modern. The pool was murky, however. The buildings are arranged along a parking lot and all open out basically onto it. Which means that the place is a bit noisy at times. It is also located on quite a busy street and not in a walkable area. That said, La Perla… more
The room was clean and reasonably modern. The pool was murky, however. The buildings are arranged along a parking lot and all open out basically onto it. Which means that the place is a bit noisy at times. It is also located on quite a busy street and not in a walkable area. That said, La Perla shopping mall is about ten minutes away by foot, though the staff didn't recommend walking in the area late in the evening. The restaurant has a good sized menu, but most of it is not available. Just sandwiches, Caesar salad and carne en suite jugo, or for breakfast a buffet. You will want to go out for meals. Last, the sole vending machine didn't work and I found a large roach in my room. There's a small gymn and a garden area.
