“Got it on Hotwire: quiet, warm(ish)”
I ended up spending an extra night in Zacatecas. I found this place on Hotwire for 14 MXD. Some reviews complained of very cold rooms with no spare blankets. “Quiet surroundings and comfortable rooms”
The hotel was great. The staff awesome. I stayed there during the street theater celebrations; just spectacular. “Good location for budget travelers”
Easy to walk to most things we wanted to see. Room was clean, not to noisy considering location. Decor very minimal. We had concerns with no hot water the first night and staff corrected this. . Yes, you get what you pay for.

“You get what you pay for ... admittedly good location.”
You get what you pay for ... admittedly good location. The room had no windows, the mattress was stiff, the hotel run down. However, the rates are quite low, they do have free parking and wifi (in the common areas as the signal did not reach our room) ... and the location is great ... therefor... more
