“Service is the highlight”

The service experience was amazing, they even wash and clean your car. The jacuzzi is comfortable with hot water. Beds and pillows have pretty good comfort. 100% approved. Good location, 5 min to the downtown. Restaurant food, pizza and breakfast is tasteful

Beautiful hotel. Flowers and greenery in the courtyard and great decor. Room very comfortable. Convenient location can walk everywhere in town. Parking across the street included. “A unique and rustic inn with an outstanding staff”

Liked · The staff were excellent, upon arrival the manager pointed out that we'd booked a pet friendly room across the street and proceeded to show us the other rooms that were available if we'd like a free upgrade which afterwards we chose the pet friendly room as we were parked in the courty... more

Liked · The staff were excellent, upon arrival the manager pointed out that we'd booked a pet friendly room across the street and proceeded to show us the other rooms that were available if we'd like a free upgrade which afterwards we chose the pet friendly room as we were parked in the courtyard right outside of our room and it had a king-sized bed. There was also plenty of electrical outlets. The staff were always asking if everything was ok and even washed our rental car before we left. The meals in the restaurant were very good and the pizza oven in the restaurant was unique and the pizza tasty. We also booked a tour to see the Monarch butterflies through the hotel which included a cab to take us there, who waited until we were set to return to the inn and our entrance to the reserve. The only thing not included was the optional horse to take us up the mountain which were 300 pesos each. Disliked · The lighting in the room could have been a bit better, especially in the closet area and a chair in the room would have been nice. The hot water in the bathroom wasn't cold but never got "hot"

This is a very nice 3-star hotel. Beds were comfortable and it was surprisingly cool despite the nearly 30 degree weather outside. Food in the restaurant was good, and reasonably priced; decent wine by the glass. Two problems, however. The (young) staff likes to play music that they enjoy rather than what the guests might like so you may be listening to club music or Coldplay fairly loudly during your breakfast. There are also concerts in the evenings (at least on the weekends). All very nice, but the hotel is set around a courtyard, so if you just want a quiet evening you won't get it as everyone "enjoys" the music. The hotel also puts up quite high prices with a week cancellation period on places like Booking.com, about double what the rooms are really worth and what they seem to actually go for if you don't reserve in advance. You should be paying less than $100/night for a standard room, and that's partly because the peso is strong now.
