I forgot to say on check in I received a basket with my remotes, the Wi-Fi codes and other information a lovely touch. The bathroom was good with a well functioning shower and large bottles of assorted soap materials. We ate outside under the arbors. The food was good. The laundry service was great. I was surprised that they did a turn down service at night which was unexpected. There are interesting sculptures dotted around the property. Someone told me this was an old convent converted to the hotel.

“Great Place To Stay With Family and/or Weddings”

We traveled as a family for a wedding and we stayed here for a night, as we would be staying at the venue site for the rest of our stay in Tepoztlán. From the outward appearance, with the neighborhood in which we were in, the expectations were not very high. We were wrong. The property is a lot larger than what you see upon arrival. We stayed in a family room, with a king bed on the loft with its own bathroom. There were two other full beds and a pull out couch. Beautiful room. The floors make a lot of noise, tip toe is difficult when others are asleep. There are two TVs in the room, but no service, so you will have to use streaming. The Wi-Fi is pretty good. The staff is very friendly. There is a restaurant with very good food and a full bar. There are a couple of markets a short walk away, although the slope can be challenging to some. The town square (Zócalo) is three blocks down hill. I wish we would have had more time there. Some rooms have air conditioning, others don't; make sure to ask.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff that greeted us were very nice and quick to help us. Our room had an amazing view, rooms were clean. I have one complaint. My aunt and uncle stayed in room 20. My uncle left his coin purse behind in a drawer in the room. It was full when he left, he later noticed half the coins weee missing. I can only assume the cleaning staff took it. It’s not a lot of money but it is enough to make us unhappy with the staff. Beware and don’t leave any valuables in room.
