“Was concerned about 57 highway construction - it's easy off and a little more difficult to get back on 57.”
I've stayed here about 4 times over the years. This time was no different; quiet (even though 57 is adjacent, good air conditioning, clean pool and pleasant grounds. I've stayed here about 4 times over the years. This time was no different; quiet (even though 57 is adjacent, good air conditioning, clean pool and pleasant grounds. Parking is available under cover - some spaces are small. Posts and pillars take some spaces but are good for motorcycles. Wifi is OK, we were able to stream movies without interruption. Staff are pleasant. I never found it before - maybe it's new but there's a token operated pair of washers and dryers to use.

Solid 4 star hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, although you could hear the noise from the street. It is not located in the city historic center but rather is a 25 minute walk away. Having said that, you walk through a nice part of town and come across fruit stores, authentic cuisine, and see a side of Queretero that you wouldn't ordinarily see if you stayed in the City Centre. Recommended.

I stayed five nights at the Holiday Inn Queretaro-Centro Historico and had a mixed experience with my stay. I booked a suite and learned at check-in that I’d been downgraded to a deluxe room because of some wedding parties that booked suites. I’m not sure how my Diamond Elite guarantee was met in this instance. The hotel manager worked hard to address it and we found common ground in that I moved into a suite on the third day. I do appreciate her making the effort. The breakfast is good—a mix of Mexican and American fare—and the staff is quite efficient with seating and serving. I ate at the restaurant on multiple occasions and the food is good. The property has a lovely style to it—a mix of Spanish colonial and modern—with a quiet outdoor pool, a colossal common area, and a second building with conference centre and accommodations. I wish the suite were in the separate building as it is very quiet and peaceful there. Parking is free and in a covered garage on site. Múy bien! It’s a bit generous to claim “Centro Historico,” as the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site city center and square is 30 minutes walking. That’s about 2.8 km/2 mi.
