Very comfortable hotel for a very reasonable price. We arrived late after a long flight and were welcomed warmly by the front desk as well as all staff members. The bedding...sheets, pillows and mattress...were very comfortable as well as our very clean and spacious room. No complaints at all. The full buffet breakfast as well as the dishes prepared to order was delicious with a large variety of food. One of the waiters, Jorge, was very pleasant and happy to help with whatever we wanted/needed. This was a great way to start our two week Mexican vacation. We have nothing but good things to say about this hotel.

My husband, my son and I spent a day ad a night at the Turotel in Querétaro. The hotel surpassed my expectations. It is located very close to the Historic Centre. The room was spacious, neat and well maintained. It had all the amenities that we required. The staff were cheerful, well mannered and helpful despite not knowing much English. Nohemí Fraga Salinas who was at the front desk was eager to help with any questions we had. The complimentary breakfast was quite a spread, the waiters ever willing to provide anything you needed. Eliza Aguirre Ortega who I think was the supervisor offered me some fruit and a sandwich to take with me when she heard I was diabetic. Sebastian from reception, drove us to the Aquaduct and dropped us off at the Historic Centre, as part of the amenities. He was articulate and accommodating. We were also given a complimentary drop at the bus station. All of this made our stay at the Turotel very memorable and I would recommend it to any visitor to Querétaro.

This pet-friendly hotel with room service fit our needs very well. The location was great for the business we needed to do around Queretaro and close to the 57, so we could easily get back and forth to Tequisquiapan about 50 minutes away. We really appreciated the free snacks and water!!! There were a few minor glitches with the hotel room itself. There was no door handle on our balcony door when we arrived, so the door couldn’t close properly. Maintenance came and fixed the door right away by putting a door handle on. There was also an issue with the electricity going out briefly in the entire building, but someone made sure my elderly mother made it back to her room safely and brought us an auxiliary light. It was out only very shortly. We opted for the superior balcony double. Even though the balcony overlooks the parking lot and the very busy (and noisy) freeway, we were glad to have the balcony, which made the room seem larger and had more light. The parking seemed very safe and secure with 24 hour vigilance. Room service was very important to us. Our expectations weren’t high for a highway hotel, but the restaurants surpassed expectations. If you are looking for a thick steak, get the Picaña cut, which will be kind of like a cross between a NY and a sirloin. The citrus chicken breast had a citrus/chicken stock sauce that seemed to change every night, but the breast itself was incredibly moist and delicious—and great with the freshly made green sauce and limes. The restaurant also made an octopus aguaschile for us that was delicious. The creamed spinach is really good—fresh tasting, not overcooked, and didn’t taste like it came out of a sysco plastic serving bag, like it might in the States. ***The service is what makes this hotel.*** Originally we were only going to stay two nights, but ended up extending our stay for a week. Montse and everyone at the front desk, Andrea and her companions in housekeeping, the bellmen, and the front and back of house teams at the Rio Tinto restaurants (Alberto and Miguel Romero in particular) made our stay a wonderful experience. The service was more efficient than most hotels—no matter the stars or location in the world. We were really missing the Turotel team for the rest of our roadtrip! A million thanks to everyone at Turotel.

The hotel was clean, functional, the check-in and check-out were very fast and the personal was very friendly. The hotel is at a good location in a highway so its easy to get in and out and offers free parking. The room size was very good, and it had a huge TV. The breakfast was good and tasty. They offered eggs and hotcakes, fruit, sweet bread, and coffee. There are 2 restaurants on premise. The issue in our case was the proximity to the highway, we were able to hear every passing car, so if you have light sleep, it may be an issue. On the other hand, at around 5:00am a group of people arrived and not clear where they were speaking but we were able to listen to all their conversations. All in all, if the group of people had not arrived, I would have given a better rating.
