“Tour group stay in Oaxaca”
Stayed as part of tour, and it was the best hotel we stayed at on the trip including (presumably) more expensive ones. Stayed as part of tour, and it was the best hotel we stayed at on the trip including (presumably) more expensive ones. Hotel looked a bit shabby from outside, but was immaculate inside and the room was clean and good size--there was a comfortable sofa in addition to the bed. Two bottles of water were provided daily, plus there was a convenience store on the block of the hotel. A number of restaurants within short walking distance, and strolling to the center of Oaxaca was easy and pleasant. Felt safe at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast wasn't particularly good compared to other places we stayed at on the trip (mostly packaged stuff), but it compared with Holiday Inn Expresses we've stayed in in the U.S. Hotel had a heated outdoor pool. Very nice.

“Great Location, Staff and Rooms!”

We stayed here for several nights after arriving from Puerto Escondido. The location is perfect for tourism and has access by foot to everything- the ethno-botanical garden, the San Pablo cultural center, the excellent museum of Oaxacan culture, and of course the fantastic restaurants. Our room was lovely and large, bright and airy with a good night sleep and a clean bathroom. Breakfast was really good and the whole experience was very positive. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel. Room nice. Pool ok but too shallow Breakfast was nice but the dining room too tiny. Only half the guests could sit inside. The other half were outside. And it was pretty cold first thing on a morning. There was space in reception area. For more tables. Luckily I got a table inside for the two of us Tour groups are on a fixed schedule. There were two coach tours in. So should realise if they departed at 8. Breakfast only starts at 7. Then it’s going to be chaos with up to 60 people all wanting to eat. Plus guests not with the two coach parties

Pretty good hotel. 10 minutes walk from the centre of town if you turn right out of the front door. 5 minutes away from an Oxxo convenience store just over the main road if you turn left. Pretty good hotel. 10 minutes walk from the centre of town if you turn right out of the front door. 5 minutes away from an Oxxo convenience store just over the main road if you turn left. Rooms clean and beds very comfortable. Ground floor dining area is very compact and not ideal for large groups but spills out into the lobby and outside and works pretty well. We enjoyed our stay.
