“The Most Appreciated Day Stay”

After flying in from London at 4 am and waiting a few hours for my connecting flight, all flights were canceled due to fog. I was exhausted and frustrated due to the lack of information from the airlines on next steps. After being placed on a late night flight, I needed a safe place to rest and recharge after a disastrous travel day. Courtyard to the rescue! I called the front desk and asked if I could book a room just for the day, and the manager kindly offered me a room for six hours at a very reasonable rate. I was picked up from the terminal by a friendly shuttle driver and quickly brought to the hotel. Complementary food and snacks awaited me at check in and I was whisked away to a clean, safe, comfortable room for a much needed nap and rest. I ordered room service and enjoyed the wifi for a few hours and it was exactly what I needed to recharge. Thanks to the Courtyard for being so kind to a sleepy, frustrated solo female traveler. I would happily stay here for a layover in the future.

The hotel is literally inside Mexico City Airport, just connected by small bridge but you don't need to leave the airport. It is extremely convenient just to walk inside the airport to get to the hotel. The entrance is located on the 1st floor of terminal 1, on the way to the parking entrance of the international area. There is also a ticket counter/terminal for out of town buses(ADO & Pullman de Morelos). It is all very secured and inside the airport. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, a 4 star style hotel. Good customer service. There is a restaurant by the lobby and also downstairs in the atrium. You can also grab something to eat just outside the hotel entrance, there are many take-aways restaurants, starbucks and to sit down and enjoy a meal places like 'Italiannis' or 'La Mansion', just a few steps from the hotel and again with the convenience and security that it is all without having to leave the airport. A very good option when catching an early flight or having a long connection.

This was the first time that we used the Courtyard at Mexico City Airport to catch an early outbound flight the next morning. We had a very positive experience. Checking was super quick despite that the reception area was quieter busy with an airline crew. Front desk personal was professional,very friendly and kind. The rooms are quite spacious and everything was clean and tidy. Bed was super comfortable. And very important: Even if this is an airport location there is absolutely no noise either coming from the street or from the runway. So we had a restful night. The only thing we negatively noticed: There are no USB charging ports in the room. So bring your chargers with you. Food at the restaurant was good, plenty options to choose from, reasonably priced and service was quick here as well. We took the shuttle next day to Terminal 2 and also this service was quick and the driver was super friendly. Overall a great experience and much better quality than other big chain hotels at the airport. Will definitely return next time we have an early flight.

Had a lovely two night stay, once I found my way there. I arrived into the airport and thought this would be convenient. However, I found it extremely difficult to get there with various airport info people telling me different ways to get there. I eventually had to take a cab there, which showed me that it would have in fact been impossible to simply walk there as I originally thought because the airport is so enormous. Room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. AC ran well, and I had a late night out and arrived back very drunk and hungry. Ordered room service and it was delicious. They had a nice choice of vegetarian food and it arrived quickly. One thing: I asked for a couple extra bottles of water, which never arrived. So I went to the front desk to ask and they said they didn't have any. I had to pay for two small bottles, which just left me a little miffed- especially because they were so expensive!
