Regee, the pool concierge is amazing! Our glasses were never empty! Always checking on us to see if we need anything, and being extra attentive! We will definitely be back in the future and look forward to it. Oscar also helped us, and was super cheerful and made the experience!

My family came here for a week long visit, and it was truly one of the best, most healing trips I have ever had. If you stay here I highly recommend using their spa and salon. It was a beautifully run and designed experience. As someone who works in a spa myself, the hospitality here is something to aspire. Juanita at the front desk is a queen, Lilly the spa attendant waited on me hand and foot, Selma gave me a wonderful and very relaxing massage, and the massage products felt high quality and restorative on my body. Nicole, or Nico gave me what might be my favorite haircut ever! I asked in broken Spanish for a current and popular haircut in Mexico - it’s beautifully wavy and soft and frames my face gracefully. I felt taken care of by her. Across from me, my aunt got her nails done with some whose name I unfortunately have forgotten - but the manicurist was also very present, attentive, and relaxed. Additionally, the beds in the rooms were probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept. I raised the sheet to see the brand and see if I could order one back home in Chicago - apparently they have the mattresses specially made for the hotel as it said - Villa Del Palmar across the lining. Marcos, the waiter was also very attentive, he humored me with my attempt to practice Spanish and went above and beyond to fetch rice from the other restaurant at the resort. Plus, the food was so wholesome and fresh. The food alone left me feeling nourished and healthier. The landscaping is meticulous and lush. One gardener I encountered was among the plants for hours and he had the air of someone lovingly attending their own home. There were many other workers I interacted and all were patient, kind, joyful and present which is exactly the medicine most Americans really could benefit. I felt blessed from head to toe, inside and out - thank you Villa Del Palmar and Nayarit

We stayed at Villa del Palmar Flamingos for the 3rd time in September for my husband's 50th birthday. We had an amazing time as always. Check-in was easy. They give you a bracelet that acts as a room key so that makes it super convenient. We were convinced to go to the presentation even though we said before we wouldn't go again. More on that later. Our rooms were nice. We traveled with our two teenagers and had adjoining rooms. That set up was ideal for traveling with teenagers. Restaurants: The restaurants were just okay to me. We went to the Japanese the first night. The portions were tiny and everyone needed a snack afterwards. The best food we had at the resort was at the pool. We were there during the office season but it didn't seem like there were enough people working by the pool. Getting a drink or food by the pool was not easy. We left the resort every night for dinner and had really tasty food. Don't be scared to leave the resort. The area is very safe. The Presentation: We were told that because of someone's negative review on Trip Advisor, the presentation would only be 90 minutes exactly. That is NOT what happened. I wish I could remember their names but all three men we dealt with during the presentation were rude, disrespectful, condescending, and not considerate of our time at all. I honestly felt like we were being held hostage. We kept telling them kids were waiting for us to meet them for breakfast but they didn't care. We ended up being in there for almost two and a half hours. The worst. Towards the end of our week stay, we randomly ended up with a butler. Polo was always checking on us to see if we needed anything. He even arranged for our room to be decorated for my husband's birthday. He offered to get a cake but I had already ordered one. Polo was great. As were most of the people who worked there. Overall, we had an amazing staff but I would NEVER recommend doing the presentation unless you enjoy being disrespected.
