We had such a wonderful 2 week stay at FS Langkawi. It has been said before - the reason why the FS is so good is because of the staff and this resort is no exception. The kindest, most generous group of people you could ever hope to meet, plus the added bonus of seeing old friends from other resorts. They have an excellent training programme set up in the Maldives and then these amazing people move around the group. The staff go above and beyond, for example - BA cancelled our flight and they spent ages on the phone sorting out a new one for us. We ate very well and swam in the longest pool you have ever seen. We had the most fabulous Mangrove tour, it is a must on your visit. Special thanks to Mo, Kanak, Sandesh and Lukemon who put out a towel and water for my early morning swim every day! We will be back, we loved our time there.

The food was exceptional at every restaurant, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Special thanks to Mr. Mo for ensuring we had an unforgettable experience, Joanne for going out of her way to leave us fully satisfied, and Khoo Wong Thong at Ikan Ikan for making my husband's 50th birthday dinner extra special. A big thank you to Patty, Kishen, and the entire breakfast staff , the mixologist and the staff at Rhu Bar.( can't remember his name) for their warm hospitality. We can't wait to return, and that credit goes to Mr. MO and Joanne

We celebrated our anniversary at Four Seasons Langkawi and it was fantastic. It was a luxurious stay, and we loved every bit of it. The place was really beautiful. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. The staffs were so pleasant and very helpful. They were ever ready to assist us as we literally had the Concierge Service practically in our fingertips i.e. they created a WhatsApp chat to provide assistance to our enquiries or needs, very efficient and fast response. We would like to name a few of the staffs that made our stay a very memorable one: Ms. Dayang and Ms. Tanaka from Reception, Mr. Ray and Mr. Joel from Rhu Bar, Mr. Balwant from Serai, Mr. Ku and all the buggy riders, and everyone else who we met and chatted. A special mention to Mr. Mo, who so very thoughtfully made our anniversary a very memorable one by arranging special amenities. Thank you Four Seasons Resort Langkawi. We look forward to our next trip.

“Run down Four Seasons surrounded by trash”

Definitively not up to par with other Four Seasons, with severe "quality control" issues. - Shower water took minutes to get hot - Bathtub water stopper was broken - Hand sink water stopper was broken - Very mediocre food & drinks - Very unsafe jetski tour arranged by hotel had us riding for 10 miles in heavy rain, open water, 15mph wind gusts and large waves. This is not run by the hotel, but the hotel chose the agency - Unkept landscaping with dead plants and gaps - Broken power plugs - Poor mobile reception - Wifi broke, took them about 60 minutes to fix it Most importantly, there was trash everywhere. Langkawi has a trash problem, which becomes a major problem when the Monsoon brings all the trash into the beach. There were extraordinary amounts of trash both on the beach and floating in the ocean, even in the middle of nowhere. Hotel personnel would arrange the trash at the beach into piles and eventually large plastic bags. These piles were at the beach all throughout are stay. On the bright side, the surroundings are paradise, the geopark close by offers a fantastic experience, the pools were beautiful, the room was huge. and the bathroom had a very unique and massive Arabic bathtub. Overall, this Four Seasons felt run down.
