Our stay at the Four Seasons Resort Langkawi was incredible. The location is stunning, with a private beach and breathtaking views of the Sea. Our villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered plenty of privacy, with every detail thoughtfully curated. The service was exceptional—staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel special. The dining options were excellent, especially the beachfront dinners with fresh seafood. The activities, including the jet ski ride to the fish farm, and the relaxing spa were highlights. It’s a perfect mix of luxury, relaxation, and adventure. We can’t wait to return!

“Lovely stay at the Partial Sea View Lower Pavillion Room”

We went as a family of 3, wife, husband and a baby 14 months old. We had an excellent stay at the hotel, and our room, 303, was a lovely partial sea view lower pavilion room. I highly recommend a lower pavilion room if you're travelling with a young baby as the upper pavilion rooms while connect to the sea and have a good sea view too, you'd need to take the staircase to go down. Service and Room Feedback: With a lower pavilion room, access to the beach where our baby could play in the sand, was super convenient. The resort is well maintained, staff is extremely well trained and friendly. Some notable mentions being Angelo at Rhu Bar, Vikrant at Hawa, Sandesh whose one of the F&B leads, Balqis, Aidi and Awis the naturalists, Siyak/ Sinyak, Ashwem at Hawa and Serai restaurants. Special thanks to Tobias, who left a lovely note for us greeting us and welcoming us so warmly during our stay. The outdoor hamam like bath was unique and I loved the experience of taking a bath outdoors after a swim in the lovely family pool (super convenient for young babies, with an adjoining secondary family pool for older babies). Food and Drinks: The food was excellent throughout. We are vegetarians by choice with the occasional meat eating options, but the breakfast spread as well as a la carte food options at Ikan Ikan, and Hawa (Indian restaurant) were excellent. Try the Mushroom Soup Malaysian version at Ikan Ikan, was killer! The cocktails at Rhu Bar were lovely steeply priced I must say but rhen again you'd not mind a premium for enjoying a drunk by the beautiful coastline of Langkawi Amid white sands. We had a lovely time having first visited the hotel just for a drink at Rhu Bar six years back and now during our second trip to Langkawi, finally staying here for 4 nights. Wildlife: The Dusky Langurs at rhe resort where beautiful to see, and if you like nature the mangrove tour is a must do too. For the uncommon hornbills like Great and Wreathed you'd need to book a birding hour to Gunung Raya which is about a 35 minute drive to the top from the hotel. The mangrove tour was smooth, some nice birds including the Pacific Reef Heron, Ashy Drongos, the Brown Backed Kingfisher and lots of raptors mainly the White Bellied Sea Eagle and Brahminy Kites. If you like macro photography, the colorful crabs and mudskippers were at good close range from the boat, do carry a 500 or 600 mm lens for the crabs though. All in all, a lovely four night stay. What a beautiful resort this is. Starting from people , to service, to facilities. I was travelling with my son who had his birthday and the hotel made sure he has a time of his life. The beach is nice, clean and peaceful. Food at all the restaurants are amazing. And they have a very nice kids club with many nature activities. For adults there is nature walk in the morning which I enjoyed. The highlight for us was the private Mangrove safari tour we took from the hotel which is a 3 hr tour with the senior naturalist. We spotted snakes, eagles, monkeys, crabs , fishes and puffer fish during the tour. It was so informative and engagement and our son loved it. Would love to visit again.

Just finished 4 night stay at the fabulous FS. All expectations were exceeded. The room, 402, was massive and very well appointed. The buggy system always worked great to scoot around such a large resort. The very large beach offered stunning, panoramic views and we felt as though we were on a deserted island. I don't think the hotel was that crowded during our Mon-Fri stay, but the property is so large, I can't imagine feeling cramped in any way. All restaurants were great. The staff is the friendliest staff that my wife and I have ever encountered. We were treated like royalty, and we are just peons. This was our first time on Langkawi, debated at great length where to stay. I was somewhat concerned with the few negative comments about FS, but I have always had great FS experience and thus went with my gut--a great decision. This resort is patterned after Hualalai FS on Oahu, and it shows--in all the good ways. Currently writing this from The Datai at a more southern location on the island. Totally different experience as it is in a rain forrest. They are both truly 5 star and you cannot go wrong with either one--just check out the websites and pics to see which one fits your fancy as they are different.
