Beautiful hotel with excellent customer service 👏🏻 Chalets in the jungle, gorgeous nature at your doorstep, minibar, welcoming staff, good beach and warm sea it was a pleasure to swim in. Expensive dining options on site, but Beach Brasserie is well worth it 👏🏻

Reception , very helpful, everything was explained as to where our room was and other facilities. We were taken to our room on the little electric shuttle and our cases taken down the steps for us😀. We were on half board , which included breakfast and dinner in Danyang cafe (same place as brekky).We were given a brekky card(to cross off daily) and a voucher for dinner each night), however until I asked, it was not explained that there is a limit of 80 RM per person allowance on dinner , any higher is for you to settle yourself, to be honest, you'll only need a main course as the portions are very big😀 There is everything you could need at brekky.... everything.... curry, rice, cheese, meat, salad.etc etc....you are in Malaysia...a good time to take advantage of the local fare Room, we had a premier sea view chalet, and it was lovely, very clean, and a little birthday suprise for me in the room (cake). Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush kit, comb etc, bath, separate shower hair dryer, more bottled water than we could shake a stick at ( I think tap water is not ideal to drink) , balcony with 2 loungers, 2 chairs and a little table which got the sun very well in the mid morning. Mini bar (free) 2 cans of lager, 1 coke,1 sprite, 1 energy drink, 1 small pringles, 1 bag of nuts. The pool area is lovely and quiet when we went. Plenty of loungers (could probably do with replacing soon). I used the spa , I had rose scrub and a signature massage ....hands down ...best massage ever!!!! I went back and left a hefty tip ❤️. We booked at Pan Thai restaurant (amazing food, cocktail and sunset pics), if you're on half board, it's worth mentioning you have a voucher, I didn't , but then we were asked for our voucher ? ...I didnt argue...but this was NOT mentioned at check in...or indeed on booking the table. It may be that the vouchers are taken in the other stand alone restaurants , but as it wasn't explained I only booked Pan Thai ... All the staff here are super friendly and helpful, a credit to this hotel. Don't forget, you are actually in the rainforest....so if animals, geckos, moniter lizards , monkeys aren't your thing .... We loved seeing all the natural wildlife...we saw dusky leaf monkeys every day.... including when we were in the pool and they were sat watching...they are quite timid , so they don't bother humans. The beach was quiet on our visit and again the sun loungers are due a refurb, the water is lovely and warm , but not too clear. We did book onto the jungle trail , our guide was lovely and knew where to find all sorts, including flying lemur, flying lizard and torqay gecko, it was very sweaty to say the least, I was fully covered and still got lots of mozzies bites, I got some cream from the hotel shop and they went within 48 hours. Strangely , I never got any bites any other time. Overall we had a great time here, it did rain quite a bit ...but when it was sunny ....it was very! Hot. Many thanks to all staff here, they were excellent 😍😍...big shout out to the man in the restaurant who warned me of the super hot and spicy meal I ordered in Dangyang cafe ....but I ordered it anyway ....he tried....I failed...🤣🤣🤣....listen to the advice people....these folks know their food 😂 Deffo worth a visit here ❤️

“We're hooked on Berjaya Langkawi”

This is one of the best places we have stayed in Malaysia. My wife and I visited for two weeks in Jan 2023 for the 1st time. We returned for four weeks with another couple in Feb 2024. We will be back for two more weeks in 2025. The resort is built down the hill of a rain forest. We chose an ocean front villa which was very spacious and had a fantastic view. Because of the spread, the hotel has shuttles running constantly around to bring visitors from and two their villas. If you need a lift somewhere within the resort, just call reception. The staff in the resort are extremely nice and helpful. Almost everyone speaks and understands english so communication is never an issue. Mr. Azman Ramli, the food and beverages manager, is extraordinarily helpful and professional. I sent him an email omplaining about some challanges at the Thai restaurant one evening. The issue was resolved promptly. Mr. Ramli made sure to come talk to us in person the next morning to ensure that we happy, then he bough us lunch for good measures. We spent a lot of time at the pool and at the beach. I used the gym a few times a week, and the spa a few times as well. We tried all of the restaurants; each had its own menu and flavours. Food is reasonably priced. Langkawi is not a very big island, but it still has plenty to offer. We tried the skywalk, the night market, an island hopping excursion, and visiting the various beaches around. Love this place. Love Langkawi. Love the Malaysian people.

“Holiday relax”

Convinient for relax with beach and pool and restaurants. And very quiet environment. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything is very good in the resort. Fantastic Thai restaurant with perfect location for sunset. Short distance to airport and cable car to SkyBridge.
