Exceptional service from staff!! I about to left this hotel, overall i would rated my stay with wonderful experience overall even though with some hicccup from one of department. Basically i purposely choose AC Hotel as i would like to spend my whole day inside the hotel. From the moment i arrived, the staff warm, welcoming and incredibly accommodating. Although there was a hiccup, the way the duty managers stephanie and burn the situation was truly impressive. They quickly resolved the issue, going above and Beyond to ensure I was comfortable and satisfied. In the same note I would like to give my credit to one of F&B associate Sagir for his dedication to ensure I have good breakfast experience the next day. The professionalism and dedication to guest satifaction really stood out. Thank you, AC Hotel kuantan, for turning what could have been a unpleasant or inconvenient into a memorable experience. Looking forward to coming back in the nearest future.

“My fav. Hotel in Kuantan but had the worst b’fast experience.”

Was very warmly welcomed by the doorman upon our arrival (sorry I didn’t get his name). Room was clean and a good size for a family of 3. The AC worked really well. Great location with short drives to multiple attractions across Kuantan. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Bathroom was decent. Housekeeping did a great job in our room as well. What really impressed me was how attentive the staff was. Anything I needed they were quick to provide. Breakfast was bad; I’d give this a skip on my next stay.

Generally a nice and pleasant hotel except for the keycard used. They are old and needs changing. None of their keycards can retain the magnetic information and always looses their ability to open the door within a day. Generally a nice and pleasant hotel except for the keycard used. They are old and needs changing. None of their keycards can retain the magnetic information and always looses their ability to open the door within a day. Reminds me of those old cards that was used at LeMeridien Bangkok, hotel need to do better on this. If there is a major convention and the rooms are full, expect a power outage and do not depend on their emergency light. One occurred during my stay and the room and corridor was pitch black, no emergency light came on in the room and I couldn’t even see my own hand that was put up in front of me. Not sure why there wasn’t any backup generator and it took a good 20 minutes (minimum) before power was restored. Had to move around using mobile phone light. At the waiting lobby, droplets of water from the air-conditioning was dripping onto the sitting area, maintenance needed. The only good thing is the Marriott points you get from staying at a Marriott hotel. No shopping center within walking distance, but there are some shop houses nearby.
