Stayed two nights at Room 3411 recently, which faced the Pavilion mall and was with club lounge access. Thanks to Cik Aishah who assisted me with the room reservation by taking note of my room preferences and also special word of gratitude to Hotel Manager, Mr Rajesh Kanna who carried with him an aura of charisma that was evident in the way he managed the hotel team at both the busy club lounge and the very busy breakfast venue each day making all guests feel welcomed and quickly attended to. Also special word of thanks to the Concierge team led by Mr Rajan and Mr Ganesan who were very helpful in showing me directions from the hotel to nearby places of interest. This is a hotel I would love to return for a staycation again. The room was very comfortable especially the bed was so good that I slept really well on both nights and the hotel has good strategic location to explore the neighboring premium malls.

Westin Kuala Lumpur never disappoints. It’s all about location and service. Rooms are spacious. clean , well equipped and luxurious. However Aircon could hv been better. Was a bit warm despite maxing it out to 16c. Corridors and elevators were also warm and slightly uncomfortable. Room service took awhile as well. Otherwise it’s my favourite choice for my shopping adventures in Kuala Lumpur

“Too busy for us.”

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights over NYE. We are Titanum elite guests, and we're 'upgraded' to a room on the 34th floor overlooking the Pavillion Shopping Centre. Let me start by saying we didn't realise how old this hotel was when we booked it, nor did we realise that it would be so noisy. Yes, it is convenient for the shopping centres if that is your thing, but the traffic outside the hotel is really something else. There are constant traffic jams and the horns hoot well past midnight (not only on NYE) as well as the motorbikes reving their engines. We only had breakfast once in the hotel (on NYE), and we decided to use the restaurant instead of the executive lounge as the lady on check-in had told us that there would be more choices. Gosh. The number of children running around the restaurant, touching food items, was really something else. The poor waitstaff looked totally exhausted, and even asking for a Oat Latte ended up with me having a cup of warm Oat milk (minus the coffee) because of the sheer volume of people. It is a very 'local' breakfast with little Western options (particularly for those with dietary concerns). We had breakfast outside the hotel the next day. Bedrooms - the beds are the usual plush Westin standard, so they are great. The room is dated, and the corridor leading up to the room brings thoughts of a old fashioned Brown door corridor (because that is what it is). I get that hotels are trying to reduce single plastic use, but water in glass bottles in the rooms is off-putting, especially since you don't know how long they have been there for. We bought our own water and put it in the fridge. The water pipes are loud, so you can hear everyone in the neighbouring rooms having a shower - even at 2am in the morning. Service was non-existent for us - perhaps because they were so busy. We didn't use any of the other facilities so can not comment on them.
