Pros: 1. There’s a butler provided to serve us 2. Amazing room (the bath tub is magical. It fits for 2 and able to immersed ourselves in a romantic floral bath . You can call Mandara Spa for them to prepare the bath. Lots of selection: tropical, milk, citrus. Note: it’s not free). 3. Private pool with nice porch. 4. Wonderful bed with the traditional touch of ‘kelambu’ 5. Free mini bar 6. Complimentary welcome drinks, private high tea and breakfast (great food) 7. You can ask for private romance dinner at your place- with candlelight and all. 8. The jungle environment. It makes you feel like you are outside of KL and free from the hustle and bustle of the city. Cons 1. Parking is horrible during weekend. Hotel should provide assigned parking for guests. 2. We waited for 1/2 hour for check-in. Clueless what’s next. 3. We dont know what’s the function of butler. Brief info- okay, your butler will come to escort you. Thats it. 4. No information about the entire premise. Like what facilities are provided- gym, swimming pool etc (we found out about the spa by ourselves). 5. We have missed out the romantic candlelight dinner as we were not informed. When we requested, they said we have to book by 4 pm. 6. One hour for room service. Repeat: YES. Hopefully the service will be better next time

Had a one night stay during our 33rd Anniversary. When we were taken to the villas area, we are so impressed with the environment that surrounded with gardens .All villas are at the hillside.We stay at Bayu Villa.The interior design and setup of furnitures are simple but feel pampered , luxury & exclusive with private pool. The viila area is isolated but integrated with Hotel & 5 minutes walking to the popular shopping mall. We had breakfast & hi tea at the pavilion which is 1 minute walking distance. Although not much choice of menu on F&B, i can say it is nice , tasty with good quality. Bayu villa is just a stone throw away thus at night we can hear loud music which a bit annoying if the music thus not meet your ears . Hahaha . Maybe another block of villa will be much better. On the day of check-out, after breakfast, we had problems on the entrance door of our villa but we truly appreciate with the excellent service provided by the villas’ Manager, Ms Marissa and her staff Mr Farhan Hasim in solving the matter. We were given extended check-out and an awesome gift box with gourmet dates. Overall it was a pleasant stays with good hospitality. Couples who have plan for honeymoon should consider this place.

The villas are nicely built and it gives you an impression that you are in a place far away from the hassle of city life which is really nice. Landscaping along the wall way to the villas is nice and you can see plants and trees everywhere. Checking in is alright and the staff attended to us is friendly and helpful. And she even use the car to send us to our Villa. The Villa comes with our own private pool which is not very big but that is fine. The room size is quite big and I like the high ceiling which makes it look spacious. It comes with a balcony but sadly though not much of a view. We can see other villas in front of us from the balcony. The bathroom is nice and spacious with a hot bath tub and a rain shower. But I think the furnitures and fitting are getting really old and some of this fittings need to be upgraded. The mattress is not very comfortable and you can feel that it has been used for many years. The bath tub looks like there are stains and lots of scratches all over the tub and it makes you don’t feel like using it actually. For the price that you are charging I think you need to really refurbish your villas to ensure it is updated and the furniture and fittings look new and nice. At night I think the area is a bit dark and also I would prefer if maybe you can have some security guards to regular rounds around the place. Maybe because now the occupancy rate is not high at night we we walk to our villa it is a bit scary because from hotel entrance all the way to the villa, anyone can just go in and out. The lift do not even need the guest to swipe their card to go to that floor. So it can be dangerous if someone is hiding in some of the bushes and waiting for guest walking back to their villa. We don’t see anyone at all not a single staff at night. Your security need to be better I’m afraid. Our stay comes with the club lounge access and we were looking forward to see how’s your lounge but I must say we were really disappointed. I think this is probably the smallest club lounge we have been. It is surprising that for a 5 star hotel like yours have such a small club lounge. The evening cocktail there are not many choices of food . Everything about your lounge is not up to standard compare to other hotels that we stayed in. Again the price got charge for the club room is not cheap. To me it is definitely not value for money. Checking out experience wasn’t that good too either. When we check in, the lady told us that on the day when you went to check out can call them and they can send a car to take us out to the front entrance of the Sunway Resort hotel. But when we called the staff said there was no car available! So we have to walk to the Pavillion to check out and there are 2 cars parked near Pavillion! The most important thing when you are in the service industry is you need to make sure you do not promise your guest something that you cannot fulfill. If you tell us there is such a service then we expect to receive this service. Whether you have a car or no staff to drive us out that is a problem you need to resolve! Overall I do like the environment with the plants and trees and the concept of this place. But to me I think for the price that you are charging, your villas need to be updated, security at the villa have to be better and most important of all the service need to be much much better. Compared to the other hotels that we have stayed, you still have lots of improvement.
