“A Gem In Bukit Bintang Area”

First time trying this hotel in KL. It was a SHOCKING experience as the hotel was SUPERB. The hotel is clean and they shared lobby with Pan Pacific Service Suites. We stayed in Urban Family Suite room. 2 single beds & 1 king bed. Pros :- 1) Location was superb. 2) Clean rooms and great facilities. 3) The staffs were friendly and helpful. They are able to converse in English. 4) Children friendly. 5) Nearby laundry service along Jln Imbi. Abt 10mins. 6) Everything is good about this hotel. 7) Parking is available if you drive. 8) Wifi is superb. Cons :- 1) NOTHING to complain about. Conclusion :- Definitely a place to stay with comfort where all the shopping establishments are within walking distance. I will stay here again during the next visit to KL.

The property enjoys a fantastic location in the heart of Bukit Bintang, directly opposite Sungei Wang and within walking distance of numerous shopping and dining options. However, guests should be prepared for potential delays when using Grab during peak traffic hours in the morning and evening. A few staff members from the Club Floor deserve special recognition for their warm and attentive service: Ms. Janice, Mr. Kasrun, and Mr. Kapil, who ensured our drinks and other needs were well taken care of. Additionally, I want to commend the laundry department for their honesty—I was pleasantly surprised to find the coins I had inadvertently left in my shorts taped and returned with the freshly washed items (see attached picture). As a Discovery Platinum member, I was fortunate to receive an upgrade from a Club Premier room to an Urban Suite. While I was grateful for the extra space, I understand that upgrades are not guaranteed, particularly during high occupancy, and I nearly missed out due to the property running at full capacity. That said, the Urban Suite’s design left room for improvement. Suggestions to enhance the guest experience include adding a sliding door to partition the living area from the main bedroom, installing international plugs with USB ports on both sides of the bed instead of the current local plug setup, and introducing a theme-based design to add character and warmth to the suite, moving away from the current clinical feel. It was evident that the hotel struggled to maintain service standards under full occupancy, which affected my experience in several ways. I waited in line for 20 minutes to check in, only to discover that there was a separate line for Discovery members. This information was not communicated beforehand, and signage in the lobby was unclear. Upon reaching the main check-in counter, I was redirected to Level 6 for a more personalized check-in as a Club Floor guest. A simple email explaining this process would have prevented the confusion and made for a much smoother first impression. While I appreciated the complimentary three pieces of laundry per room per night, my laundry was returned at 9:30 pm instead of the promised 7:00 pm, disrupting my plans for an early night. Additionally, housekeeping only attended to our room at 4:00 pm, which felt unusually late. The housekeeper who serviced our room was incredibly pleasant and apologetic, clearly doing their best under significant pressure, but the delays highlighted the need for better resource management. Given these challenges, I strongly recommend that the property consider hiring additional casual staff during peak periods. This would help alleviate the burden on existing staff and ensure a smoother experience for guests, particularly in areas like check-in, housekeeping, and laundry services. While there were moments of good service, the operational shortcomings during my stay significantly impacted my overall experience. Unfortunately, these issues have led me to conclude that I would likely explore other options for future visits if given a choice.
