“Amazing hotel with even more amazing staff”

There are so many wonderful things about the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur that it's hard to know where to begin. The first thing you notice is the spectacular view of the Petronas Towers from the lobby and other public spaces, as well as from many of the rooms. (The hotel is on the 17th through 39th floors of an office building, so every room has a high-floor view.) The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and elegantly furnished, and the hotel has the best location in Kuala Lumpur, adjacent to the Convention Center and a short walk from the six-floor Suria shopping mall. The breakfast buffet in the "THIRTY8" restaurant (which occupies the whole 38th floor) is not to be missed: there is a wide variety of foods from many cuisines, including some delicious Indian vegetarian dishes. And the offerings at the evening cocktail-hors d'oeuvre hour at the Grand Club (open to guests who have Hyatt elite status and/or who have booked premium rooms) is almost as abundant and just as tasty. There's also a nice pool and a good gym. But the hotel staff is even better than the building. One person who really stands out is Christina, who was my waitress at breakfast several times on this and other recent visits: she is not only helpful, efficient, and resourceful but also gentle and self-effacing. A number of her colleagues at the restaurant -- including hostesses Dyana and Jiha, waiters/waitresses Vivian, Nuri, Liana, Irwan, Crystal, Fiza and Amirul, Chefs Greg and Pandit, and Hakim at the tea stand -- also did a wonderful job. I am also most grateful to Ines, Esther, Kisha, Samy, Tummi, Soo, Alvin, Mel, Kiven and their colleagues at the Grand Club, to Stephanie and her colleagues at the reception desk, to Sanjiv and others who cleaned my room, and to everyone else whose outstanding service has made the Grand Hyatt KL one of my favorite hotels in the world.

“Best Club Longe in KL”

Best buffet breakfast ever. Many varieties of choices. I can’t even try it all. And I love the Club Lounge too , worth upgrading the Club Access. Thank you so much. I really enjoyed my stay at Grand Hyatt to spend my memorable day. See you all next time!

“Birthday surprises for wifey and daughter”

The room is excellent, don’t feel like leaving once entered. The sofa bed is nice touch. Breakfast was great, having breakfast with good view at 38 floor was a different experience. The food variety was excellent and the quality was superb. One can enjoy Western and Asian food in one meal.
