Stayed for 12 nights. Great location, walking distance to most places. LRT, MRT in walking distance. Room service was good. Friendly reception. Complimentary parking. Breakfast menu is ok but mostly cold serve. Shower not so hot. Good room size with Merdeka 118 view. Breakfast at pool with KL Tower view. Front desk booked us taxi to KLIA.

This is a hotel frequented by guests from ASEAN nations. The rates are reasonable, if booked well in advance. On entry, the lobby looks grand. My room was cosy, and the bathroom even more cosier. We had a double deluxe on the 11th floor, with views of Menara Tower and one of the Petronas Towers. The night lights were a stunning display. Pros: The staff were simply outstanding. During our five-night stay, we were greeted with smiles at every turn. Location was fantastic for eating and shopping. Close to 2 light rails. Complimentary shuttle to Bukit Bintang and Suria KLCC. Two bottles of water everyday Cons: Only 2 bath towels are provided, no hand towels. Poor shower pressure. Pump packs produced tiny amounts of soap, and were almost empty. The shower curtain is about 4 inches too short and the water splashes out of the shower stall. A nice flat screen tv, but it was difficult to use the remote control. Volume was either very loud or mute, no other options. The channel changer was very difficult to use and we did not use the tv at all. Depending on the location of your room, it is not a quiet room. I did not mind the noise but you can clearly hear the traffic and the light rail which passes front of the hotel. The swimming pool is on the 2nd floor. It is a small pool and it is not for laps. You cannot bring towels from your room, and you cannot bring the swim towels back to your room. Your option is to dry off as best as you can at the pool, yet still dripping all the way to your floor. Exactly 2 tea bags and 2 instant Nescafe sachets. If you wanted extras, it is an extra $5. No in-room safe. Toilet rolls are very limited. Room service was ok. There was a used bathrobe left in the closet during the entire stay even though I pointed it out to the housekeeper. For the price we paid, this is a very satisfactory hotel. The price of the room outweighs the minor inconveniences. I would stay again. Tips: The hotel provides 2 one way trips to Bukit Bintang and Suria KLCC at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Use it. There is a return airport bus to and from KLIA to Pudu Raya, and it about MYR$15. On arrival, ask for directions to the hotel (and exit where the buses exit) and when you are outside, it is less than 100m easy walk, even with heavy bags. Look up and you will see the large hotel's name. In Pudu Raya itself, there are small clothes vendors (shirts, t-shirts, local dresses) that cater to the local masses. Some are quite reasonable in quality e.g. a collared t-shirt $15, men's short sleeve between $20-$30. Petaling Street: Fake products galore. Too many food choices. Along Kota Raya shop front, there are cobblers that will repair your shoes for an reasonable amount. Use a Grab taxi app. You can pay cash or load your app with a credit card. I laughed when some street taxis quoted exorbitant amounts.

A slightly above average hotel. Lobby looks great and room is considered quite nice. However, my family had issues with the mini fridge, tv (no sound) and all of us were not provided toothbrushes and had to ask from room service. Food service was especially bad, being slow (took nearly an hour for just one dish and drinks) and with improper service etiquette and messing up food orders. This happened on our first day and last day there. Swimming pool was also underwhelmingly small. Would not recommend for anything longer than a couple day's stay.
