Conveniently sited in the centre of the town, so you can walk to most places, or catch a taxi (called a grab ride here). “Great for a night or two”
When I rate this hotel with 4 stars then I have taken into consideration that it is a low cost hotel. The hotel itself needs upgrades, but the room was clean, shower worked and with plenty of hot water. The staff in the reception was just super nice (3 girls) and helpful. Long past it's glory days, there are improvements going on but that is no excuse for some poor house keeping nothing too serious, just dusty shelves, things left in the fridge and the like but gives a poor impression. “Not sure why Exo booked us into a 3* hotel in China Town?”
Renovation works going on 8am to 5pm. Quiet room promised by Exo travel, message not passed on. Eventually the suite was offered, which was very nice. T Vs not brilliant and little choice. Breakfast offered very limited, to spicy and so we left it

“Small hotel”
Another faded boutique hotel in the very busy streets of Kota Kinabalu. Friendly service. Breakfast was not good and they didn’t provide what was paid for. Room was comfortable and functional. Hotel within walking distance to shopping centre.
