Location: This lodge enjoys a superb setting in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, and is sheltered by the volcanic splendour of the Chyulu Hills. This classic stone-built lodge overlooks its own watering hole which is visited daily by elephants, buffalo and a wide variety of plains game. It is also ideally placed for visits to all the park's prime attractions, including The Mzima Springs, Shetani lava and caves, Rhino Valley and Sanctuary and the Roaring Rocks, which are all about an hour from the lodge. Nairobi is 3 hours' drive and it is about 280 km to Mombasa Airport.
Meals: The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. Full board can be booked. Breakfast and lunch offer culinary delights every day. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

“Lovely lodge with excellent wildlife”
Lovely lodge with spacious rooms and a very active water hole which is viewable from the verandah of the room. Food was excellent and the restaurant also has good views of the wildlife. Not too big and busy like some lodges. Drinks delivered to your room at no extra charge.

“Poor lighting”
The 2nd lodge we stayed at for one night with a beautiful view again of a watering hole. Rooms were hot and the fan outside the mosquitoe net so did not keep us cool.
