A great end to our holiday a week at pinewood right on the beach lovely lay out , accommodation big and airy ,beach bar pool bar ,after a week on safari needed to relax this just the place, rooms cleaned daily, i would recommend pinewood to anybody

This is our second visit to this wonderful hotel.We have visited this area a lot over the past thirty years.Most of the hotels and moderate to good.However, this hotel is exceptional.We would choose nowhere else, having discovered this gem. The site is unique, standing on a coral bed and just metres from the Indian Ocean.A blissful walk along the white sands and you are able to enjoy the warmth of the Indian Ocean. The hotel resembles a small, peaceful village with wonderful,two storey “ cottages” Each cottage is tastefully furnished, fully air conditioned and immaculate.The walls display beautiful African artwork and the furnishings reflect this theme. The gardens are a tropical feast for the eyes with huge trees,hibiscus,bougainvillea,bananas and a huge variety of stunning flowers,flourish. They have to be some of the finest gardens we have visited. The food is delicious, with a varied menu to suit everyone.The chefs are justifiably proud of their cuisine. Staff are friendly, helpful and the atmosphere reflects this. Many have been at the hotel since it opened and there is a warm, family atmosphere. Everyone feels valued by the owner who has gone out of his way to make a visit to his hotel man unforgettable experience. We are always sad to leave this little oasis of perfection

The Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa is a paradise on earth. If you are looking for a place to spend days in total relaxation, this is the right place. The resort is surrounded by lush, well-maintained vegetation, featuring a spacious and clean pool, and many areas where you can rest and enjoy the wonderful sea view. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with every comfort. The food is EXCEPTIONAL!! But what impressed us the most and what we will never forget is the courtesy and availability of ALL the staff. At Pinewood, wonderful, smiling, humane, caring people work who are capable of meeting any request. This meant a lot to us and added immense value to our trip to Kenya. If we were to return, we would definitely choose this place again. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

We stayed for 5 nights at Pinewood and had a lovely time. The resort is just the right size, the rooms are spacious and arranged in a way that each one feels secluded. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and the beach is clean and well maintained. It is a family owned resort and you could feel the care and attention put into it. The team were so friendly and helpful including Rasta, the hotel dog! The food was buffet style but plentiful in choice. As a vegetarian, I had lots of options everyday. Try Grace's desserts - you won't be disappointed! All in all, a comfortable stay in a relaxing and calm environment.
