“Great experience!”
I am a tourist, each time I come to Hakone stayed at this hotel. It is the perfect place for experiencing Onsen bath. “Hakone hotel stay”
Beautiful older hotel overlooking the lake. Large room. Comfy bed. Came over on the Japanese ship from town. Nice way to see the lake. Staff was very attentive. Limited view rooms with king beds. If you want a lake view they come with 2 twins. Limited USB or C charging plugs.

The staff at this hotel are amazing, couldn't have been more helpful! Hakone is a more quiet area of Japan and we weren't prepared for how things stop much earlier in the evening. As others have mentioned this hotel is now looking rather dated. I’m sure the round guest room towers are architecturally interesting but getting around was a pain.
