“Japanese hospitality at its finest”
This hotel is by far my favorite :) Professional staff, beautiful architecture, rooms are so cool and yet very comfortable, the new spa is fantastic with a semi open-air hot spring. Oh how I wish I could stay here longer. Japanese hospitality at its finest!

“Beautiful Historic Property”
Beautiful historic property. Very attentive staff. Dinner in the French restaurant was wonderful. Real wine list. The view from the spa was incredible. Be sure to walk around the property. “Beautiful heritage hotel with relaxing onsen and free shuttle services”
Heritage hotel with beautiful and spacious room and good service! The breakfast was wonderful and the onsen was relaxing. “Disappointing, over-priced, not well maintained hotel for what could be an amazing luxury experience.”
Hotel is very dated and there aren’t any nice areas to spend time in - the lounge areas are full of brown leather seats that give it the look of a home for the elderly. The gardens are run down and not well maintained. Swimming pool is old with broken tiles and algae growing in the sides. Doesn’t f… more
