We got a corner room for 1 night and was delighted with the views. One of the windows oversees the Japan Alps and the other window oversee the Toyama Castle Ruin Park. As we arrived in the evening, we got beautiful nightviews from our room. We also managed to catch the sunrise from Japan Alps from our room. There was a air purifier in the room and the room smell fresh and clean. Beds were comfortable and there was a bathtub attached in the bathroom. The hotel also provide steamed eye mask and amenities for the bath and shower. Highly recommended to try out the breakfast! The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of both international and Japanese cuisine. They also provided trays so that you do not need to make multiple trips to get your food. And there was a griller available to heat up your grilled fish so that they were served hot. Staff was also very attentive and provided assistance without us asking, making the stay/dining more pleasure. There is convenience store (7-Eleven) just across the street which helped with late night snacks/drinks. Enjoy our stay for sure.

Excellent hotel in all aspects. Had stayed here for many years. Same hospitality standards always. Friendly staff,Excellent rooms. To specially mention is their Breakfast buffet. Super. All aspects covered with high grade.

I stayed 1 night at this property. There are just another 2 other international chain hotel in this mid-size city with another one (Doubletree by Hilton) coming in early 2023. Other international guests seems to be mainly employees which visits this city for the Fujifilm site and it seems to cater to also tour groups - during my visit there was a bus load of Korean tourist. Location The hotel is located about 15-20 mins walk from the main Toyama train station. In front of the hotel was a tram stop (serviced by the City Circle tram) and about 5 mins walk away another tram stop which has more frequency. Around the hotel within walking distance are different shopping streets and eateries. Right in front of the hotel is the Toyama castle, and other touristic attractions also within walking distance. To sum up, the property is favorably centrally located. Check In I arrived around 1 pm at the property to a quiet front desk area - however the employees seemed to be busy. However upon noticing my presence, I was immediately called upon. I was informed that my rooms were not ready (I had 2 rooms reserved). However the check-in process was completed and I was informed that I could keep my bags stored and they would be brought up to the room. I only had to come back later to retrieve the room card later. I was upgraded to a higher category room. I was also asked about my option for my Welcome Gift - which I selected for the Welcome drink option. Since my room was with breakfast, I was also provided with a breakfast voucher. All in all a very warm welcome to the hotel. Room I arrived late afternoon back to the hotel - upon receiving my keys I was informed that the bags were already in one of the rooms. I was given two rooms, next to each other at the end of the hallway. The room size was rather spacious and although dated, as in lots of other Crowne Plaza's in Japan, the room was rather dated but well maintained and functional. There was a working desk and a small area with a seating area. The window in the room was on the small side - with a view towards the city area. The internet speed was good and stable - with login via the One Rewards login page. The only small complain is the TV, it was on the smaller side with the usual channel options found in these international chain hotels in Japan. The bed was luckily not on the hard side and sleep quality was good. Climate control was good - with the room maintained at the set temperature. Tea/coffee making amenities and Japanese Yakuta was provided. The bathroom was sufficiently spacious with a bathtub. Water pressure and temperature control was good. Toiletries were in pump size bottled. There was additional amenities provided - which is typical for such hotel level in Japan and in addition the Crowne Plaza sleep comfort package, Skyview Bar To use my Welcome Drink voucher, I used it at the hotel's Skyview bar - which is at the highest floor of the hotel, which is one of the highest property in the city. I was quite surprised with the generosity of the options - including cocktails. Service as expected was very good. The bar had a beautiful view over the city centre. The bar was quite busy on this weekday night, which I can understand with the view. Breakfast The breakfast was served at the main restaurant of the hotel at the ground floor. The options were a mix of Japanese and Western. They did have a a few local dishes on offer and an egg to order station. Although it was busy during breakfast (due to the tour group), there was sufficient seating. They also had a nice ice-cream bar option for those who are interested - which is quite unique. Breakfast quality was very good in my opinion. Overall All in all, this was a very good hotel - although on the dated side, it was still very good and a good value for money. I would highly recommend this property for those who needs a reasonably priced hotel but with western amenities.

Personnel friendly and accommodating. Hotel lobby restaurant seems always busy with tour groups and locals. Many options on breakfast buffet. Personnel friendly and accommodating. Hotel lobby restaurant seems always busy with tour groups and locals. Many options on breakfast buffet. I can not recommend the lunch buffet, over priced cafeteria experience. Japanese restaurant on 5th floor is average but excellent service. Roof top bar has a good view of sunset, a good selection of whiskey and well trained bar tender makes excellent cocktails. Our two rooms were clean and one room faced the castle which really was a beautiful view. Loved the idea of large container toiletry dispensers. Large under ground parking garage. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and museums.
