“Super cool travel experience in very convenient location ”
POSITIVES- --Authentic Japanese Inn (ryokan) experience! Most of their rooms are Japanese style (no beds - sleep on thick pads on floor), although they have some Western style rooms (with conventional beds). This isn’t five-star hotel (if you want one, book the new Four Seasons at 5-7X the cost).... more

“Great Location! Comfortable, Clean and Terrific Service”
Just a block off Dotonburi Street, foodie haven, this Ryokan was everything it needed to be! The room is made up with a low table, cushions and tea service (with snacks!) during the day, and then in the evening, staff comes in and changes it over to mats and linens, pushing the table to the wall... more

“Great Location and Felt Very Authentic”
My wife and I had a lovely 5 nights here in January. The rooms are Japanese style which we like. The daily servicing was good. The rooms are fairly modest in size but well organised and comfortable.
