“Wonderful Osaka Hotel”
This hotel is very quaint with a modern feel. The staff were all friendly and more than helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious with plentiful selections. The rooms were clean. Plenty of closet and dresser space. I would definitely stay again.

“Surprise presentation”
Quaint mock European hotel, somewhat worn and in need of refurbishment. Well located in terms of trains and airport transport. We found that the attempt to promote an old fashioned hotel fell a little flat. We did not eat at the hotel due to an early departure.

“Shabby western-style hotel, handy for main Osaka station”
This hotel is a little dated but it's in a central location and handy for the main Osaka station. Our room was very small however, barely enough room to open a suitcase, and seemed somewhat old and shabby and in need of renovation. “OK if no other options”
It was OK, v centrally located. Very pleasant surrounds. But strange. Reasonably clean. Reception/front desk really hard to find, and not well sign psted, especially when you're lugging bags - It's on the 6th floor. Wouldn't go back there - but European vibe / decor too strange.
