Very comfortable stay. The accommodations were excellent. There is a proper living room and separate bedroom. Just need to be mindful that the washing and drying cycle is a 3-hours activity.

We have just returned from a 9-night stay at Fraser Residence Nankai and could not praise it more highly. It is an absolutely fantastic property in every respect. My first encounter with it was through emails to the reservations team, and I would particularly like to compliment Kajun San and Suiren San for their kind help and professionalism in arranging our booking and dealing with my many questions! Once at the property, we had a 1-Bedroom Executive Apartment on level 11 and a Studio Deluxe on level 9. Both were among the most spotless rooms we have ever stayed in. Everything was immaculate, and I particularly loved the fact that there was an air purifier in each room to help prevent viruses, bacteria and mould. I wish all hotel rooms had this! I cannot emphasise enough how practical everything at this property was. Sometimes you stay in 5-star hotels and everything might look plush but the basics & practicalities are lacking. Not so at Fraser Residence Nankai. While it is not necessarily plush or super luxurious, it is modern, functional and exceptionally comfortable: ample plug outlets in sensible locations, full-length mirrors, a good hairdryer, extensive cupboard space, an easily accessible and easy-to-use safe, small but practical bathrooms with no leaky showers (you'd be amazed how many times I have had showers that end up flooding the bathroom floor, even in 5-star hotels), IMMACULATE house-keeping, extremely attentive service (we asked for some extra towels and toilet paper and they were brought up to the room literally within seconds). This is a Residence property, and you can really tell it is designed to be lived in. There are microwaves, fridges, kitchenettes, washing machines and dryers in every room, and our 1-Bedroom Executive Apartment also had a separate living area and dining table. The bathrooms come with lovely standard amenities such as shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, and, as part of the property's sustainability initiatives, additional amenities such as shower caps, vanity kits, toothbrushes etc. are available for free in the lobby on a self-serve basis. There is the Namba Ribbon restaurant on site but we did not try it. The hotel's location cannot be beat. You are just a few steps away from the massive Namba metro and JR stations, which can take you pretty much anywhere you want to go in the city. Plus the lively Dotonbori district, Namba Square, and shopping malls are all within a 10-minute walk or less. There were also several street-food stalls and small eateries nearby. We tried the okonomiyaki, takoyaki and yakisoba from the food stall next-door and loved them all. Finally, I would like to make a special mention of the staff, who made what is already an exceptional property even more amazing. I already mentioned Kajun San and Suiren San in reservations, as well as all the wonderful housekeeping staff, but we also had lovely dealings with all the front-desk staff, particularly Eiko San, Mei San and Misako San (and there were others whose names I unfortunately did not get). Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were so friendly, helpful and professional and are truly an asset to the property. I cannot compliment them highly enough. We also had the pleasure of meeting the GM Jon Loeffelholz, who is to be commended on the outstanding property he is running. A big thank you to every single person who made our stay at Fraser Residence Nankai so truly wonderful and unforgettable. We are already in the process of rebooking because we loved it and Osaka in general so much!
