First time staying at Marriott & had the Best upgraded to Duplex Ocean Suite with 3 futton beds & 1 king bed that cost over $1,000 per day! Also scored a guaranteed 11am check-in and 4pm check-out. Amenities - Mini fridge stocked with 3 cans of complimentary orion beer and 7 water bottles (I counted lol). Full set of coffee and tea packs. Lobby - in construction, but there’s a ton of beautiful sting rays, lion fish, sea urchin, eels, etc at the mini pond. Mable Ride- Beautiful drone shots included for $80 (2 people/10mins) Lounge: 5-6pm Happy Hour, delicious dessert platters up for grabs and good variety of drinks (self-service) Japanese Bath & Sauna - 10/10 very relaxing Game room - Pool table, 2 ping pong tables and 2 dart machines Projector show at the lobby was a nice touch! Parking: 500yen or $3 per day (complimentary for platinum) Breakfast - Japanese/Western style buffet Overall, wonderful stay even though some areas/restaurants were closed due to low season. Still one of the best upgrades ive ever had compared to my hilton diamond where we stay the most.

My partner and I just returned from a wonderful 3-night stay at the Sheraton hotel in Okinawa, and we're already dreaming of going back. This was our first time visiting the island, and the hotel provided the perfect home base to experience Okinawa's stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. The hotel facilities and amenities were truly top-notch. We took full advantage of the on-site coin-operated laundry machines, which allowed us to pack light and travel hassle-free. The complimentary parking and outdoor adventure offerings, like the zipline and kayaking, were also fantastic perks. We had a thrilling time trying out the zipline, though the weather conditions did cause it to close down for a day due to high winds. Luckily, the hotel's crystal clear private beach provided a wonderfully serene alternative when outdoor activities weren't possible. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools were a huge hit, especially with our young kids. They loved the fun water slides and spent countless hours splashing around. The hotel's location and variety of family-friendly features made it an ideal choice for our trip. The only area that could use some improvement was the hotel service. While the staff was generally polite, we did notice they didn't always have the warmest demeanor, and there were occasionally long wait times to reach someone by phone or the mobile chat function. However, given that we visited during the peak season, we understand the hotel was likely experiencing high guest volume. Overall, our stay at the Okinawa Sheraton was truly exceptional. The stunning natural surroundings, top-notch facilities, and wide array of activities made it the perfect home base to explore this incredible island.

Went for my honeymoon and overall was satisfied. Spend your money on the biggest room (king bed) on the south tower. The room was among the largest that I've ever seen in Japan, and quite comfortable. Yes, it is somewhat annoying that you have to purchase the Resort Pass to make a lot of activities on site easier. But the activities themselves are run well and the facilities were well maintained. Of course the nature and setting are beautiful. Onna itself doesn't have much to offer and isn't very walkable, plus it is a bit far from other Okinawa attractions, so it's very convenient to not to have to really leave the resort. Check-in and check-out were easy. There are enough people who speak English. Breakfast buffet was tasty and had a lot of variety, but was quite busy at times. Recommend getting it because there aren't many other real options in Onna. The evening happy hour is a nice event. Blue Cave snorkeling was a great time. Improvements - At the spa I got a massage twice and both times they were just ok, so this is an area of improvement. One was strong but too rushed, and one was too weak and not much of a massage. We got dinner at the Grill one night, and although it was tasty, the food took too long to come out, even though we were one of only three other groups in the restaurant. Not sure why it took forever? There was still an advertisement on the Marriott website for morning yoga, but when we got there, we were disappointed that it was only during the summer. If an event is no longer offered, the ad must be updated.
