Decent hotel near Shuri Castle. We chose this hotel as we had a car to explore Okinawa and the location provided a great launching point to the freeways that we would be utilising most days. What the location did not provide was much of anything else. Shuri Castle a 10-15 minute walk but other than that very few dining and bar options outside of the hotel within close range. Half hour walk up VERY steep hills to the closest monorail and main street. Hotel amenities were excellent including an amazing breakfast offerings of both Japanese and Western offerings. Sunset Bar a must visit with beautiful views and great cocktails. Fuji restaurant offers excellent elevated Japanese cuisine in a beautiful dining room. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All staff encountered were delightful. Pool is large with a bar but it does close very early - suspect due to the residential location of the hotel.

Location of the hotel is very good, near Naha. The turn into the parking lot is very sharp and sudden, but plenty of free parking. Location of the hotel is very good, near Naha. The turn into the parking lot is very sharp and sudden, but plenty of free parking. Diamond status was recognized ahead of time and I was upgraded, which not expected given the class of hotel, but it was appreciated. The upgrade was minor to a slightly more spacious room and a higher floor. No separate check in line for elite members, however the staff was very quick to check people in. There was also a happy hour with free drinks available for diamond members, although I did not partake. The room itself is larger than most Japanese style business hotel rooms I am used to staying in for business. I was given a room with two twin size beds, but the beds were very comfortable and sleep was excellent. There wasn't any significant noise from the outside so it is great for light sleepers. The room had plenty of outlets and was laid out very nicely, more modern than any Doubletree in the United States, for a point of comparison. The breakfast spread was excellent, with a special ala carte menu available for diamond elite members. Diamond members were also seated in a separate section. The food was great with a good selection of Western food and many Japanese options. All the food was excellent quality, from the soba to the taco rice. A few changes from day to day, but enough selection that breakfast did not feel tired at all even after a week. Great hotel to stay in the area, I was very impressed, especially with the breakfast.

Nice hotel in the heart of Naha. A mile away from Shuri Castle. Price was reasonable, rooms were spacious. The hotel was older and had been partially updated. Nice hotel in the heart of Naha. A mile away from Shuri Castle. Price was reasonable, rooms were spacious. The hotel was older and had been partially updated. However, the bathrooms were still older and outdated. Wi-Fi signal was poor and slow - only Wi-Fi was available, no Ethernet connection. Breakfast buffet was good especially if you get them complimentary (for Gold and Diamond Hilton Honors members). They also provided happy hours with free drinks for Gold and Diamond members. There were two restaurants in the hotel - Japanese and Chinese. They were very pricey however. There were no restaurants within walking distance, so plan on using a taxi or Uber if you do not have a rental car.

Our stay was very ok, but few things let us a little down. + + + Breakfast was good quality and variety - both Western and Asian food Room and grounds were clean Bed was comfy and Aircon + purifier worked well Staff was polite Hhonors Gold free daily drinks were appreciated Free parking Good washing machines + dryers capacity at the hotel level 3 Short walk to Shuri castle - - - Room wasn't ready while checking inn at 2 pm - instead it took almost untill 5 pm Japanese restaurant was closed as was roof bar for two nights Hotel is situoated in a quite remote area of Okinawa - not many things to do or eat in the area -> you need to have a car or use Taxi or be ready to walk 1,5 km in a steep road to monorail stop Hhonors Gold breakfast addition (three items) was same everyday The deep side of the pool was closed for the whole time - no lifeguard needed? Pool closes too early in the evening
