Wisteria restaurant at kokusai hotel offers excellent continental cuisine The stewed beef was outstanding. It was tasty and especially tender. Duck a l’orange was delicious. Dessert of the day was chestnut mousse WOW so good Pricing is reasonable

“Great Japanese hotel”
In most of the cities in Japan we stayed in regular hotels that could be the same anywhere else in the world. This one was a charming Hotel that was really Japanese in style and atmosphere. Designed nicely and decorated as a Japanese entity.

This hotel is located right in the middle of the Bikan Chiku (Historical Area) in Kurashiki. Everything is in walking distance! Hop out side and you feel like you are back in time in Edo Period. “Japanese tenderloin steak ”
We have just returned from a very pleasant lunch at this place. Located in the historic part of town near the canal this place has a nice ambiance. The restaurant was almost empty meaning that staff weren’t run off their feet ensuring a fine quality of presentation resulting in a superb meal.
