Incredibly friendly, helpful staff - all speak English. A wonderful greeting with matcha before they explain how the rooms work for you. “Excellent Ryokan in Kyoto”
This hotel was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Upon our arrival, we were greeted very hospitably with tea and sweets before being led to our room. “Wonderful traditional experience!”
Stayed in a Western style hotel for 3 nights then changed to this ryokan for one night. Traditional experience with room very comfortable and sleeping on futons the best.
