“Comfortable and super clean and spotless”
We liked this ryokan. So so clean and spotless. Very polite staff. Comfortable futons. Toilet is a seperate vestibule with separate bathtub which was kinda small and a shower. “Memorable stay with excellent service”

“Average ryokan”
Located in Gion which is a lovely area to explore, but not practical for access to the the main railway system. The room was a nice size with a separate toilet and bathroom. “Ryokan type hotel”
Not a “true “ ryokan. But ryokan type hotel if you are looking for a tranquil experience this is not the place. During my stay we had screaming children in the dining hall but the food in the dining room is good. The location is fantastic. Walkable to many temples etc
