“Great view of the Kumamoto Castle across”
The hotel lies right across the Kumamoto castle giving a nice view of the castle. Unfortunately due to the reconstruction work, the castle is not as visible as it used to be. The staffs were helpful but the room seemed a bit old that it requires renovation. The bed size was perfectly fine for one … more

“Great location with Castle view”
We stayed 3 nights here. The location is perfect to walk to Kumamoto castle which is about 10-15 minutes at leisure. “Decent hotel in a great location”
The hotel is not luxurious but it is comfortable enough. The staff is very friendly but the great majority does not speak English. “No housekeeping but free breakfast instead”
Ugly building from the outside. Inside a clean well-equipped room. Housekeeping didn't work Mondays but we were offered free breakfast instead. Upon our return from the breakfast (a well furnished buffet with Japanese and western fare) we found a bag with clean sheets, towels, tooth brushes etc.
