This is a great hotel, lovely neighbourhood with lots of local places to eat and so easy to get around from with the subway underneath the hotel. The Executive Lounge as fantastic - great choice, although a bit repetitive, of Japanese and Western breakfast items, and great evening cocktails and Moët champagne. Yes the hotel is old, but the plus side is the side of the rooms and they are very quiet. Scots Bar is a good place. We did not eat in the restaurants as they are expensive compared to the local places. The laundry service was brilliant around ¥900 per item and delivered on time. Also visit the local shrine. We hope to come back with our iprefer titanium status. Thanks all.

“Good international hotel”

This is very much an international hotel in a convenient part of Tokyo, next door to the City Air Transfer centre. Staff were very helpful and the room spacious with a king-size bed. This is very much an international hotel in a convenient part of Tokyo, next door to the City Air Transfer centre. Staff were very helpful and the room spacious with a king-size bed. The air-con struggled a little but otherwise a comfortable room for sleeping. There is a good choice of restaurants on site and you can reach the subway from the basement level of the hotel. Breakfast was slightly limited by Japanese standards but otherwise an excellent choice for a short stay in Tokyo, especially if you are using a bus from Haneda or Narita airports.

“Old Hotel with Some Hiccups but Has Potential”

I stayed at Royal Park Hotel at Nihonbashi location for 3 nights earlier this week on the last leg of my vacation in Japan with my sister. We had arrived at the hotel via Tokyo Metro taking the Hanzomon Line, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the hotel had its own entrance from the Suitengumae Station. However, things went quickly downhill as we arrived on the lobby level to check-in, where the young male hotel attendant proceeded to completely ignore me (Japanese female) and went to welcome and escort a man (White male) behind me to the check-in line in front of me. That started off our stay on a terrible note. The attendant didn’t apologize even after pointing out in Japanese that we were in line first. We tried to move past it but when we arrived at our room, there was a strong musty stench coming from the very outdated bathroom, the toilet was running and we had to call the maintenance. To their credit, they sent someone to fix it right away, and when she couldn’t, she had to call the expert to fix. While they did fix it relatively quickly, it was not something that we wanted to deal with as we had a long day and needed to refresh before heading out for our dinner reservation. Otherwise, while the bathroom was outdated and lacked a fan which made the bathroom very steamy after a shower, the shower pressure was nice. Our hotel reservation included breakfast buffet, which was actually pretty decent. However, on my first morning, there was a broken piece of plate in the dish that held the tong for pancakes which could have potentially caused someone to cut their hand. I pointed out to a staff and to their credit, they took it away immediately and the manager came to apologize. I am just glad that no one got hurt. Besides the above, here are the good parts about the hotel: 1) Entrance from Suitengumae Station 2) Breakfast buffet 3) Daily Housekeeping which provided free water bottles daily 4) Located right next to Bus to Haneda and Narita Airport 5) Large room with seating area, a desk, and a vanity 6) L’Occitane Bath Products Would I stay here again? For the right price, I would but also with the expectations that it is a very old hotel. Also, they really need to work on training the lobby attendant to ensure that all guests, especially women, to feel welcomed at the hotel, as well as make sure that no broken plates are left inside the dish that hold the tongs.

TThis 4-star hotel impresses with its grand exterior, but the quality of the beds, food, and other services leaves much to be desired. While the staff are exceptionally welcoming and the spa is nice, albeit a bit pricey, the restaurants serve visually appealing but unremarkable food. The gym was adequate, but the real disappointment was the comfort of the beds. Restful sleep is crucial for any trip, and I struggled to get a good night's sleep here. Our "king-size" bed turned out to be two twin beds pushed together. The most redeeming feature, however, is the staff, who take customer service to an exceptional level.
