On my first trip to Japan, I wanted to explore Tokyo for a few days before joining a tour, and I couldn’t have picked a better place than B:Conte Asakusa. Since I wasn’t sure what I’d want to see and do, staying here in Asakusa turned out to be ideal. The area is vibrant and has a traditional charm, making it perfect for sightseeing, enjoying local food, and accessing public transportation. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, and although only some spoke English, I never had an issue communicating my needs. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcomed. The room amenities were thoughtfully provided. Having a small kitchen with utensils allowed me to prepare light meals, and I appreciated the complimentary water bottles in the fridge. A standout feature was the washer-dryer combo unit, which came with instructions both on the TV and on a card in the room, making it easy to use. The basics, like toiletries, pajamas, and slippers, were also provided, which I later learned is common in Japan but was a delightful surprise. Staying at B:Conte Asakusa gave me a memorable introduction to Tokyo, and I’d absolutely choose this hotel again. It was a comfortable, interesting experience in a location that truly enhanced my first days in Japan.

Clean And Spacious Serviced Apartment Hotel With Good Views Of The Sensoji Temple And Tokyo Skytree. Pros: - Clean And Modern - Rain Shower - Strong Water Pressure - Comfortable Bed And Sheets - Strong WIFI - No foreign cable TV - Has In-room Laundry and Dryer, Full Height Fridge and Freezer - Kitchen Sink, induction stove, Kitchen utensils and wares are all in the room. - Microwave in room - Perfect Location. Walking distance to Sensoji Temple and the train station. - In the midst of tourist area with plenty shops to visit and eat just at your doorstep. - No smoking room or area in hotel - A 24 hrs supermarket and Don Quixote just a skip away. Con: - Reception staff especially the guys can appear abit terse and impersonal. - Smell lingers in room if you cook. I didn’t cook during my stay but there was a bit of of a lingering smell from the last guest, so I switched on the exhaust thinking that it would air the room but it made it worse.

“Good stay”

We enjoyed our stay at the B Conte Asakusa and found we were situated in a lively area with shops and bars/restaurants outside our door (not that we heard much noise from inside the hotel). We enjoyed our stay at the B Conte Asakusa and found we were situated in a lively area with shops and bars/restaurants outside our door (not that we heard much noise from inside the hotel). The suite had cooking facilities, a washing machine and a lounge area which was great to relax in after a busy day. After the first day, there is no replacement of the bottled water and capsules for the coffee machine although coffee bags and tea are available to guests in the foyer, so it wasn’t a big deal. We were really pleased to see the effort that the hotel made in providing a separate waste bag in the room for cans/bottles and plastics recycling. The bed is very comfortable and we could easily access transport options. Overall, a good stay.

This hotel is okay. A bit far away from the station if you’ve been walking all day. The area is in a lively part of Asakusa which is good for some but you can hear the noise clearly at night. This hotel is okay. A bit far away from the station if you’ve been walking all day. The area is in a lively part of Asakusa which is good for some but you can hear the noise clearly at night. If you’re sensitive to noise you might have a hard time sleeping. The room we had was a suite. It’s split into a bedroom and living room with the toilet separate and in the living area. For some reason the toilet room always had a musty smell that best sent away and the small sink was in convenient and had no area for hand soap or a hand turn rack. The bedroom had a large closet with took up too much room making the area hard to walk through at times. There is no night stand so one of us used the desk and the other a folding chair to put out stuff down. The night light was incredibly bright for some reason. The kitchen had a lot of nice cookery and the washer/dryer was a plus. The refrigerator is a larger size so if you are staying awhile or buy a lot of food or groceries, this place would be convenient. Would I come back here? Probably not because yet are similar hotels that are closer to more transportation options.
