The hotel is located near to Ueno station which is convenient for me to access to different areas with all the main JR/ Metro line. It is less crowded comparing to Shinjuku and within 15 minutes I can be at Asakusa , Ginza , Skytree. The room I stayed is a Deluxe room which is slightly bigger than the normal room, the simple design of the bedroom is very comfortable for my mother and I. The couch is very versatile. Love the carpet and furniture in the bedroom which are renovated. However, one point to improve is the cleanliness. The carpet can find little debris from clearly previous guest. Also the wall tiles and corners of the bathtub wall edges are seen with yellow and black stains ( sorry I am from the industry too). Please watch out the little essential details for a better quality in bathroom. I didn’t took a bath due to this imperfection.

Stayed at this hotel last week. Picked the hotel as it was close to the Ueno Station. If taking the Skyliner in from Narita Airport this hotel is super easy to get to. Hotel staff were excellent and always greeted me when returning throughout the day. Room was smaller which is typical of large cities. Room was well organized and made good use of the space that was available. Loved the bathrobes and the counter where extra things you may need such as toothbrush, clothes, etc were made available. I’d definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Tokyo.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for about a week, and during that period we've come to like it. Here's my lowdown: What I Like: - Nice location. It's near the Keisei Ueno station, the Shinkansen, and the JR, Ginza, and Hibiya lines so it's a great base. It's just across a convenience store to satiate those late night cravings. There are also some good shopping (Ameyoko, Marui, Yodabashi camera, Muji, Don Quixote) and OK restaurants (Atre, eCute, Ichiran) in the area. Plus Ueno park is a great place to just walk around. - The room is slightly bigger than some Japan business hotels (I stayed at Hotel Ryumeikan at Yaesu in 2019). - Room's air conditioning is awesome. We love cold rooms and this hotel delivered! - There's a microwave and a vending machine on our floor! We love buying lots of food from the various stalls inside the Ueno station, taking it to the hotel, and trying them out. Having a microwave is awesome! - The staff are gracious and polite. They didn't fail to greet us when we meet them along the corridors or leave and enter the hotel. - They leave the day's supplies outside our door. We're still wary of letting people inside our room and having it "contaminated", but they made it work by leaving the day's supplies of bottled water, towels, coffee, tea, pajamas, slippers, and even trash bags in a nice bag outside our door. What I Don't Like: - Room is small. Even if I mentioned that the room is slightly bigger, it is still small especially by western standards. There's an option for a bigger one that I should've booked instead. - Pillows. They have the Japanese-style pillows that are stuffed with buckwheat and not those big, fluffy ones. We had to ask for extra pillows just to get the right neck support we're used to.

“Conveniently located new refurbished hotel”

It was easy to locate this hotel after exiting Ueno station. We booked the 20 sm room, it was modern and refurbished , but not very spacious. It was easy to locate this hotel after exiting Ueno station. We booked the 20 sm room, it was modern and refurbished , but not very spacious. Rate paid was high but that is attributable to it's central location near the station. Check in was via machines, very efficient, with the staff standing by to help if needed. We were impressed by the staff service . They helped us forward our luggage to our next hotel and not only called them in advance of the delivery but also called them on their own initiative when we requested them to help us track online the delivery status after 2 days. If you need a clean modern room, next to station, I would recommend this hotel. Landry room with dryer/washer was useful too. Shopping street is also nearby.
