“great location”

Great place to stay as its not super expensive (for tokyo), and has great connectivity. Gets the job done, and with standard Japanese service standard, there is really nothing to complain about. This isnt a luxury hotel but for people who want to get out of their hotel rooms.

Quiet room with separate air cleaner filter machine in every room.

“Good location”

The location is very close to a metro station. The staff doesn't speak English very well and they tried to do everything using a live translator. We tried to do an early check-in, however the staff didn't understand our request after several attempts, so we ended given up our request. The pillows... more

We tried to do an early check-in, however the staff didn't understand our request after several attempts, so we ended given up our request. The pillows of the room were very uncomfortable.

“Disappointing”

Stayed four nights. Lcation is good (3 minutes walk from subway station). Surprising that the front desk staffs spoke little English while they have quite some international guests. It is a busy hotel. A lot of people checking in in the evenings during our stay. Room size is somewhat small. Cant handle two 26" suitcases. Breakfast is basic and simple. Self service laundry is expensive. 300 Yen for a wash and washing detergent is not free (Hokke Inn across the street charges 100 Yen for one wash and free detergent provided). It is even more surprising that no outside phone calls from room phone. Must use puble pay phone for even local calls. It is very possible that the hotel has many intruders (was checking the shop location of Tokyu Hands from one of the two computers in the lobby, and was asked probably 3 minutes after logging into the computer by a front desk staffs whether I have already check in. Apparently they suspected a non hotel guest is using their computer. In face the computers are located in a corner that is not visible to the front desk. Apparently they were watching through hidden cameras). May or may not stay here again in future

One of typical Jp style business hotels, Keio Presso Inn Group has a good range of hotels in central Tokyo. Stayed for 5nights and felt comfortable enough although the room itself is small and far away from luxury. The concept of the hotel is central location, provide convenience and sufficient comfort with minimal facility... Free breakfast is served 630-930am, wifi available in room, two public PC at the lobby. Receptionists are functional enough, they are supportive. A convenience store - family mart - is attached to the hotel, you will have never problem in buying small things. They don't allow check-in before 3pm, which is the only negative point to me, however, it is a rule. No choice. At the time of booking there were no no-smoking rooms available, hence I was forced to book a smoking room unwillingly, however, they allocated me to a non-smoking room at check-ink which was a big positive point. Overall impression is positive and will stay again if another chance comes around. Those who expect hotels something gorgeous/luxury should avoid this hotel.
