“Clean and cozy room in excellent location ”

I stayed here for 3 weeks. The hotel is just few steps away from JR station. For 3 weeks I stayed at this hotel, I don't have any complains. Cleaning was consistent and kept the room so clean. The room was more spacious compare to other business hotels in Japan. Breakfast was included either at Denny's or bakery downstairs of the hotel. A direct bus to Haneda airport is less than 5 minutes. There are a plenty of restaurants nearby. It's about 15 minutes to Tokyo station and 15 minutes to Shinjuku station.

“Strategically Located Budget Hotel”

JR Mets Akabane is a budget hotel located just next to JR Station in Akabane area of Tokyo. Many eateries can also be found in the vicinity of the hotel. Hotel is clean, rooms are quite small though. JR Mets Akabane is a budget hotel located just next to JR Station in Akabane area of Tokyo. Many eateries can also be found in the vicinity of the hotel. Hotel is clean, rooms are quite small though. Toilet cleanliness is excellent. Room amenities are complete and can be picked up by ourselves at the Lobby area in case if the ones provided in our room is insufficient. Breakfast is provided by Dennys and the food is okay. Both receptionists of the hotel and staffs at Dennys speak very limited English language but we can still communicate with each other.

Stayed 3 nights on a business visit. The location at the entrance of Akabane Station was so handy throughout the stay. Breakfast vouchers were redeemable at Denny's on Level 2 or the bakery on Level 1. There are literally hundreds of dining options within walking distance. There are small and medium-sized shopping malls and tons of retail outlets in the vicinity. Check-in time is strictly from 3pm onwards. We arrived on an early flight from Singapore at 11am and waited four hours before we got our room. Their checkout policy at 12 noon is also strictly enforced. This is after all, Japan! The rooms, though small, are very clean and everything works.

Typically small rooms which were basic but clean. Not many sockets but I got by. Apart from an issue where they had to redirect me to another router the Wi-fi worked pretty well. Typically small rooms which were basic but clean. Not many sockets but I got by. Apart from an issue where they had to redirect me to another router the Wi-fi worked pretty well. Laundry service worked OK. There are no other facilities in the hotel. You get a breakfast voucher for Denny’s downstairs which I got bored with after 7 days. There is also very little English spoken which is not unique for the area. There is nothing wrong with the Mets it is just very basic. So if you are an experienced traveller on a budget it should be fine.
