This hotel is attached to the rail station for the Shinkansen (bullet trains) that serve Yokohama. I stayed here with my wife and brother. We were able to reserve a room with three single beds. We arrived in the morning and the hotel stored all our luggage for free, three hours before we could check in. That way we were able to tour the area unencumbered. When we returned in the evening to actually check in the process was very quick. Our room was very nice and had lots of amenities. Everything was also in English. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom mirror is heated, so it is still clear even after a steamy shower. The toilet seat was heated and was a typical, multi-function Japanese style toilet. The shower was strong, but had a European-style half-glass door. We were on the 10th floor. The inner part of the hotel is hollow and overlooks the dining area below. The room and hallways circle the perimeter of the hotel, offering a great view below. We also had access to a free lounge until 10 p.m. It offered coffee, tea, and juices. There are laundry facilities in the hotel too. You can use a QR code to see if the machines are available, so you don't have to walk down to the room repeatedly to check. One of the best parts of this hotel was their excellent breakfast buffet. It had a huge range of delicious food, to satisfy many cultures. There are also lots of restaurants in the area, for lunch or dinner. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Yokohama. It was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our one month touring around Japan.

I adore this hotel. It's perfect for those traveling by Shinkansen, its right inside the Shin-Yokohama station. The fridge is small but its fine. the bed is comfy, the breakfast buffet has plenty of options for everyone. i have allergies and I found plenty to eat. The hotel is super quiet despite all the train noise below. There are a plethora of restaurants inside the station. Make sure to sign up for the JR hotels so you can have a 12 pm checkout.

“A very nice experience, especially for the price”

Very minimalist and clean design of the rooms and hotel in general. The bed was very comfortable for those that like firm and the duvet and pillows were of excellent quality. From an American's point of view, the buffet breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly.

If you're heading out on the Shinkansen early in the morning this is the place to stay, as it's directly above the train station. Check-in was easy and quick; the hotel staff are so kind and polite. There is a fitness room - which we weren't able to use, and a laundry room - for which I was *so* grateful as we desperately needed it by that point in the holiday. It cost 300 yen for a wash, and 500 yen for a wash/dry. I tried to put in coins but it didn't work, so I put in a thousand yen note and that worked just fine. The room itself is small by western standards, large by Japanese standards. The beds are extremely comfortable, though they had the same issue as the other western-style hotels we stayed in: there was a faint scent of stale sweat on the pillow and quilt. I used my travel pillow and made sure the quilt wasn't pulled up to my face and it didn't bother me too much. There were great amenities: toothbrush/toothpaste etc as well as robes and slippers. Even better, the bath had a drying line - SO helpful! That's more than the Hilton had! Directly outside the hotel are many restaurants. If you have breakfast included you are given a voucher which you take to Royal Host just outside the hotel door. It is a small breakfast buffet including both western-style as well as Japanese breakfast items. Get to the sesame balls early; they went fast. All in all, a very comfortable, clean hotel in which to stay. I preferred it above the Hilton Yokohama simply because the bed didn't smell as badly. It's not as centrally located though.
