“How all Hiltons Should Be - Best Hilton by a Country Mile”

This has to be one of the, if not THE BEST Hilton hotel I have ever stayed in. Super clean, nothing is a problem at all, the staff are perfectly trained, incredibly professional. It was a distinct pleasure 24/7, it puts ALL the Hilton Hotels in the USA to shame, not one Hilton in the USA that I h… more

“Great stay”

We have always enjoyed staying at Hilton Odaiba. The staff are friendly, and the view is great. This time, check in went smoothly. The room’s air conditioning was warmer than expected, even at max 16C. It would be great if the television can be a smart one where we can watch Netflix or any provider… more

  • The top reviews of Hilton Tokyo Odaiba are: I booked a King Terrace Suite which is still currently my favorite suite in Japan and likely my favorite anywhere as of writing. During online check in I noticed that the upgrade to the Royal Garden Suite, the hotel’s top end suite, was available and fairly reasonable so I decided to take the plunge and experience something new. Measuring 200 sq. m, this is easily the largest suite I have ever stayed in. The suite is on the northeastern side of the top floor and features an entrance hall with double doors, a side secondary restroom and storage area. The double doors beyond the entrance hall lead to a massive living room/den/dining area. The dining table can easily accommodate 8 people. There is also a dry bar in the dining area side with a bar refrigerator that can seat 3 people at a time. Across from the dry bar is a door leading to the titular “royal garden.” More on this later. The den area has sofas and chairs surrounding the tv that can accommodate 6 people. On the southern side of the den is a door leading to a kitchen with range, full size refrigerator, microwave, and a secondary exit to the public hallway. There are also 2 chairs by a small table facing the northern windows of the den so 2 people can enjoy the amazing view of Tokyo Bay. All of the windows on the northern side of the suite are openable which lead to a long, thin balcony that runs along the perimeter of the northern side of the suite. West of the den is the bedroom featuring twin beds. On the southern side of the bedroom is a work area and desk. West, beyond the bedroom is the bathroom featuring a double size whirlpool, double sinks, and a spacious shower with double shower heads and waterfall showers. The whirlpool is situated in the center so that one may enjoy the view of Tokyo Tower while in the bath. South of the bathroom is the toilet room as well as a separate vanity mirror, full size mirror, and closet for storage. Next to the vanity area is a tertiary exit to the public hall. As mentioned earlier, the suite is situated on the northeastern side of the top floor, affording you the hotel’s absolute best view. You can see further east into Odaiba, a perfect view of Tokyo Tower, and further west toward Shimbashi. The titular “royal garden” of this suite is, in truth, one of the terraces that occupy the edges of the top 5 floors of this hotel. However, this terrace does not have an outside whirlpool and lacks a deck. This is made up by the double size whirlpool in the bathroom however my honest impression is that it’s a bit disappointing that the royal garden is little more than a private grassy square surrounded by a hedge. As usual, I enjoyed breakfast in the lobby restaurant which was good however I prefer the breakfast and other services in the executive lounge. The Hilton Odaiba’s executive lounge has become my preferred lounge in Tokyo. On this stay I also took the opportunity to finally enjoy the spa and pool area. While the pool is indeed nice, my preference is the dry and steam saunas as well as the jacuzzi with an outside extension. It was through the jacuzzi I was able to satisfy my desire for a warm outside dip with Odaiba’s view that I didn’t get in the royal garden suite due to the lack of an outside whirlpool. My final impression of this suite is that, of course, it’s a luxurious and amazingly spacious suite. One can easily host a private party, event, or business meeting here. A large family or group would also be fine. There are enough amenities that you could live here if you so desired, budget permitting. Of course, such a huge suite is completely unnecessary for a solo traveler like me. It was an interesting experience but unless you’re morbidly curious like me, I would not consider such a suite unless your group is 4 or more..
