We have stayed at some great places but the Hilton Tokyo was an exceptional stay for us. We stayed in an executive level suite. So we had access for the executive level breakfast and cocktail hour. The staff at this hotel was super friendly and so helpful. We had a lot of luggage due to dropping our child off at college and our suite was very spacious. The housekeeping staff was amazing. Everything was super clean and we had an issue with the bathroom sink and it was fixed immediately and they left us a box of chocolates as an apology. We had breakfast included in our stay. We used both buffets. The executive level dining room was great. The Staff was really nice and the food was good. But we used the buffet downstairs more because they had more variety in the food choices. The service was good here too just not as attentive due to the size of the restaurant. During the evening, the executive floor offers a cocktail hour. They offer drinks and light snacks. I will say this is one hotel that the extra cost of the executive level room is worth it. If you need to make plans I highly recommend emailing the concierge staff. We did before we came and they helped us plan out our trip. Everyone was so helpful. The location of this hotel was nice. It was in a quiet part of Shinjuku. There are shuttles to Shinjuku station that run three times an hour. There is also train access under the hotel. The pool and gym area were good and well maintained. The front desk staff was very efficient and nice. We really enjoyed our time here. Would definitely stay here again.

For the second half of my Tokyo trip, I stayed at Hilton Tokyo and had an amazing experience! The hotel is in a great location in the vibrant Shinjuku area. Checking-in was a quick process and as a Hilton Diamond member, I received an upgrade to the Tower Suite Executive!! This upgrade was a perfect way to wrap-up my Tokyo adventures. Upon walking into the suite, I received welcome treats and a thoughtful card from the General Manager, Felix Busch. Also, the Assistant Manager personally called my room to welcome me to Tokyo! The suite offered a luxurious and spacious experience with breathtaking city views! From the plush king-size bed, stylish living area, and refrigerator full of beverages, the Tower Suite Executive was great for relaxation and entertainment. I also enjoyed the Executive Lounge, which provided breakfast, snacks, concierge service, and more stunning views. I definitely enjoyed my stay at Hilton Tokyo! I highly recommend it!!

Conveniently located, can get to various districts of Tokyo. Free shuttle service to Shinjuku station. Nice breakfast buffet offering varieties of food. Made to order omelet, which was the prettiest I have seen. Decent room size with nice shower. Hotel allowed rest of my family to join me in Executive Lounge. This is a nice perk. Airport Limousine stops at hotel. This is super convenient and economical.

I'll start with the positives. The staff are extremely friendly and the concierge incredibly patient. Our room was large and well equipped; the Nespresso machine was a welcome addition. But that's about it! On the negatives. The downstairs lobby, continually overcrowded, is essentially a waiting room for aircrew and cruise ship guests; there is absolutely nowhere to sit and relax; in fact with a swimming pool so small you could probably jump to the end and the prohibitive cost of drinks and food, your room is probably the best place to be. We were also not taken by the location. The shuttle bus is useful, but there is nothing nearby. Then again, you are in the heart of a business district. I suspect that most guests are probably here on some form of business, or with cruise/airlines, and I have no issue with that; it's typical Hilton fare. But, if you are looking for a relaxing, convivial and affordable hotel in central Tokyo, then this is probably not for you!
